    Thank you for sharing this info! I REALLY appreciate the detail you went into about explaining the foundation in detail--so many videos just say "dig a ditch that water can go out of at an angle." But never explain how much of an angle etc. So thank you!

    Great video. Just one tip for the stone foundation is to do a 2 sided masonry wall with smaller ones in the middle.

    very swell. more mortar would have made me happier, but not bad. wonder if mud wall needs a waterproof barrier to better prevent erosion into the stone foundation over time or if that'll never happen. mortar between the joints could prevent that I think, or maybe a waterproof top plate? hmm... also interesting how there is no wood header on that door frame. PS. apparently the header is said to be 4 inches wide. strangely the video seem to show only a true dimension 2x4 laid on the horizontal but I digress.

    I meant that the overhang of the header beyond the door frame is 4 inches past the door frame to overlap the walls by 4 inches on each side. It’s a 2 by 6. But yeah sorry if I wasn’t clear on that part.
