    In colder climates, you can't make cob houses, correct?!

    ​@@sandraconner6968you build a cob house in a 4 season climate that has cold and snowy winters however the cob house will not be warm naturally in Winter. You will need to insulate walls, floors and roof. Cob is not a naturally good insulator for cold weather.

    Starts at 1 ft at the base and tapers up to 8 inches at the top

    Why won't you let them dry and make adobes? I think itll be a better structure and last forever!

    I have wanted to build a small cob house for many years. We are traveling for the next 4-5 years between Mexico and Argentina, in search of our favorite cool weather retirement city. We are 56 and 61. My biggest fear is not getting the sand/clay mixture right. Great video !

    This is a real pain if you do this by yourself. It takes forever. I built a few 8x8x6 chickens pens and it took forever. Definitely recruit your friends to help.

    Why not make a house sized house for someone or a different person each group lol you don’t learn much building a shed haha
