This was such a helpful video and I loved watching the fry grow bigger! I have wanted to breed my betta for a while but didn't know how but his covered it! I would love to see an update on the fry in a few days to see how they look then!

Hi Paul What Australian leaves can I use in my breeding Betta tank ?? Or do I have to use indian almond leaves ??

I use Indian almond leafs but any non toxic leaf should be fine if it’s collected from a safe place. ( pesticide, free, etc) A general rule is if the leaf is toxic to birds. It will be toxic to Fish to a certain degree..

Would it be ok to remove the male once eggs are collected in the nest? My male keeps eating his eggs, twice in a row now he's eaten them all😩

You can try but usually it just takes the male five or six goes to get it right
