Wow this is a completely different method I’ve never seen before. And I appreciate it! Maybe doing underhand this particular way I can do other people. I’ve found a way to overhand on other folks where it still looks this way like in the video but not like an inside braid (if that makes sense??😭) Twist n Coils is where I learned it from. She’s on YT. It’s essentially what you are doing for your method but overhand, that’s wild! Edit: I agree method two (the way you don’t like) is the one I can’t get either!! Unless I add the hair to the middle strand instead of gripping the hair as I continue to move down with each strand (hope that makes sense) but yea. 😅

This is hard

Are you scooping more hair from behind the braid each time you go from over back to under? Both on the 'left' strand and the 'right' strand? I have a really hard time putting this into words, sorry 😅 like, each time you make a link in the row where you went from under, scooping hair with your middle finger, then through the middle back over, are you using both hands to scoop a tiny bit of new hair or are you just scooping every other one with your right hand?
