I'm here in 2022. I have multiracial children. My youngest has hair that's good for braiding and cornrowing. I had someone doing his hair but life has gotten hectic for her. So I'm hoping to learn. I know how to basic braid. This video gives me more hope. I just need that type of comb and a doll to practice on. Because my youngest is 3. I had to hold him and bribe and distract him while my neighbor was braiding his hair. But he loves having braids. He would repeatedly walk to the mirror and look at his hair with a huge grin. So cute 🥰

The fact that it was this easy the whole time omg! I haven’t even started practicing yet but watching this video was the first time I fully understood how to do it! Thank you!!

Finally I found a video that’s simple and actually helpful. She does the braid in a certain place which is easy for me to try instead of around the ear like everyone else. I can’t even explain how good she gave instructions, I really thank her because now I can just rewatch and understand more with such simple directions.

My son has mixed hair. I have braided his hair before but only a handful of times and although it came out great, it’s been awhile and I find myself struggling once again. This video is so very helpful. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 and God bless 💜

Sooo after going through literally every cornrow video on KZread I think this was the IT video for me., I just cornrowed my little sisters hair and I can gladly say that it is presentable I was soo pumped to see that I got the hang of it. I'm not perfect yet but I did it and I'm super excited to do more cornrows for myself and family members in the future😍🤩🤩

I'm native american and a bit of white so I don't have the kind of hair she has so I wanted to learn so I can teach her instead. I'm here for the same reason. I work at a youth shelter and one of my kids asked me to help her with her hair. I felt so bad telling her that I literally had no clue how to help or take care of it. When I saw that broken comb I knew you knew your stuff. I didn't know how to do cornrows until I had to practice with my daughter. She's 9 now and I feel like I'm just getting neat enough work to experiment, but I don't blow dry her hair before braiding. Thank you for this video! I work in a nursing home, and due to covid, visitors and visiting time is restricted. We have a black resident who has not had her hair done in forever. Now, visitors are allowed, but not for long enough to be able to do her hair. We have no other staff that know how, either. I have watched your video a couple of times, and I am going in (on my day off) tomorrow to braid her hair for her. Your video was very helpful. Seems kind of like a French braid (but you take the hair from under...instead of over) and doing it in a smaller area. I just hope I can make her hair look nice for her. :)

This video is so old and yet it is still teaching people like me to braid!! I successfully did a full head of cornrows on my 7yr old tonight!! First time ever. This is a great tutorial!! I watched several before finding this one and this was the winner!! Thank you for teaching us🥰

I learnt how to cornrow as a young child because I was lucky enough to live next to a Jamaican family and was amazed by the hairstyle my friend had, so her grandmother taught me how to do it. At secondary school I turned up with amazing cornrow hair that I did myself and was surprised that not many knew how to do it.

I'm learning how to braid so I can braid my wife's hair and our future children's. Plus, I absolutely love braids 💗 thank you so much for this beauty of a video 💗 it helped a lot

Idk why but watching people make braids is super relaxing. It puts me in a sleepy trance and I think it’s a human instinct to want to gather and groom/take care of each other’s hair as our ancient ancestors did. 🙂

as a left handed person this type of cornrowing took me a really long time to grasp. my hands were braiding in the wrong direction. with lots of practice i finally got it. thanks for this tutorial

This is a fantastic tutorial. My daughter's friend stayed the week with us, she got her hair all wet and was worried her mom would be upset. So we washed and conditioned her hair and were able to do it exactly like she wanted. She was happy, her mom was happy, and my daughter felt very good about doing something for her friend. So, thank you very much.

The way she puts her comb in the girls front little ponytail just to stay there till needed, in my opinion is genius. 👑 And the tutorial is amazing, ofc.

My 5 and 6 year old daughters and I appreciate you so much for this tutorial. This has opened up more style options for us. Thanks!
