I watched this video over and over for a few hours and i was able to braid my 3 year old’s hair! Once I learned I was an underhanded braider, it clicked. I didn’t know there was more than one way to braid. Thank you
Ma’am, I am blind and have been since I was a baby. Thank you. You taught me how to cornrow my hair. I am going to practice. Thank you. I didn’t think I could do it.
I saw dozens of videos and nothing. But with yours I finally got it. I think I repeated the beginning over 20 times. I guess I am a visual learner. The camera placement is perfect it's like you are recording with your own eyes. Thanks

Explained perfectly. I find underhand easier. I recently did my niece's hair with that method and it looked so good. This is the only video I found that explains the difference between the two methods so well ❤
You are officially my new go to when I need a hair tutorial. I’ve been trying to learn for yearrrrsss and you’re the first one to actually make an easy to follow detailed but not too long and also great viewpoint tutorial. I love your life never stop ❤
I just want to say I’ve watched so many videos and after what yours I FINALLY figured out how to cornrow my daughter’s hair! I feel amazing!! Thank you! 😊

I learned the over hand method but have been having a hard time understanding how to add in the hair. I think this help 🙌🏾
I always wanted to learn how to braid, but being older and knowing my mom is not going to be here forever, I'm pushing myself to learn by the end of the year. Thanks for the video, this helped me out a lot

You are good teacher
I just do not understand.......Lord help me
perfect video tyy
Thank you
After my 4 years of trying I know the problem I was doin it wrong thank u for helping
thank u
I could be wrong, but I learned underhand is when you feed the hair under the middle piece and overhand is when you feed the hair over the middle piece. One is a Dutch cornrow and the other is a french cornrow.
I still dont get it even if i watch it over and over

Learn how to do a simple Dutch braid first, it’s easier that way. With Dutch braid just put the middle piece over the outer pieces when braiding. Easiest way it was explained to me.

Please recommend a good hair mannequin or dummy for me, I need to practice more
I’m curious, when you pick the hair do you pick a whole line of hair or 50% of hair from the left/right side each time?
@Indybindy
9 ай бұрын
like 50%!! That’s a good question, there’s some left but eventually it gets rotated into the braid

I’ve always wondered this too. Thank you so much for answering this question! I never knew where to grab the hair from. I didn’t know if I should be grabbing from the sides or straight up from the middle.
As a mixed girlie learning how to do things like cornrows, braids, crochet etc its like learning a whole new world. I do well on other’s hair but as soon as it’s my own it just doesn’t feel as natural and I have trouble parting. Do you have a video explaining how to do your own hair properly or techniques? Thank you hopefully I can perfect these cornrows so I can finally install a wig😅
Do you just Dutch braid ?
do you grab all the hair at the scalp or half for each side
@kindiacamara9577

half for each side
Not even gonna lie, I watched the beginning how she placed her fingers about 10 times and it’s still got me lost lol 🤦🏽♀️
I want to learn how to open straight lines
This a tehnik like a dutch braidi ng?
i love this. would it be too much to use three different hair wax colors to differentiate each piece bc it’s so hard to follow the strands 😢

@@Ally67294 Length, texture, etc. Well for me it is anyways.
My issue is doing my own hair. I can’t tell how much hair I’m adding in.
It’s just physically impossible for me and that’s ok 😂 I think I can live with not knowing how to the only problem is I need somebody that’s gon do it ever 2 weeks
I don’t understand. My hands won’t let me grab the opposite strand of hair. When I braid I always grab the middle first. I get confused trying to grab the opposite end piece first
Where can I get the doll that you are using

Anytime I try doing cornrows they are always lose
Nice Video but you must show this from the Side.. i cant see Watt a Finger get Watt..
You just have to practice on fake doll hair over and over again. Takes time. You learn this better by actually doing it manually.
If u would stop going so fast 🙄

what is the best hair ((BRAND)) you recommend for feeding cornrows into afro style hair? what would I ask for? Premier quality hair that don't look cheap and noticeable. Thanks
I greatly appreciate your acronym..RUAR🎉... bc that's how I remember things better. You did an awesome job making this video!! You explained things so well while showing what you are talking about💯THANK YOU LOVE🫶🏿
I learned how to braid (taught myself intuitively on my own head and on other people) over 20 years ago and I can absolutely not figure out how to braid this way lol. I've watched so many videos over the years .. can't do it.
