How do you keep your fingers close like I’m always holding at the ends to keep my strands separated. It’s so hard!

YOU SOLVED MY PROBLEM!!!! 9 zillion years of braiding hair that wasn't really tight, and it's because nobody ever told me keep my fingers on my scalp, LOL. So simple! Thank you!
I still remember watching your previous video a while back and it finally clicked in my head what I was doing wrong and it literally changed my braiding to a whole new level!! I felt like the matrix unlocked and I was finally in the loop 😂 I love this video and I can't wait to see what comes next ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My boyfriend has 4c hair and I have been practicing box braids and cornrows so that he can just get it done whenever he wants. These are great tips and will definitely try the next time I do his hair. Thank you!!

Been braiding my hair for decades and couldn't figure out why I braid other people's hair tighter than my own, it's picking up bigger pieces cause I can't see. Thanks girl!

I know everyone learns differently, some visual, some audio, but what helped me was to practice on a mannequin or on my friends/ my partner. I even used thread once, anything that is pliable enough for you to use to practice a basic 3 strand braid, will work. Once you can easily make a simple plait, you’ll be unstoppable when you move to more intricate styles/techniques. You’ll get there, you just have to have patience with yourself throughout the process. Hope this helps! ✌🏼 😊

I can braid but you got me out here figuring out my whole life. I use my middle finger to braid but pick up with my pointer finger. When I’m in a braiding mood I going to tryout you’re technique. I’ve been since I was younger and a pro stylists 18 years and my mine is blown 💨🤯🙂😍

Omg I can't even French/Dutch braid my own hair and I came across this channel where you're braiding your own hair. That is some true dexterity and skill.
I made the tightest cornrow ever on my hair with your help. I’m sure it’l get a whole lot neater with more practice. Thank you Aida

New subscriber here, I used online tutorials to help me learn to cornrow my daughters hair through the 2020 lockdown, but I could never manage to get them tight. I’m definitely going to use your advice when I redo them this weekend. Thank you!
Omg this makes so much sense for me. As I braided further back on my hair I was not at the scalp, and didn’t even think about it.
Wow. I had to come back to say. I watched this video 2 weeks ago and just now braided 2 braids nicely in my hair for the first time in my life thank you so much for this. It really is easy as just using smaller sections and keeping your fingers on your scalp.
Very informative and straight to the point! This video was super helpful. Thanks for this!
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH FOR THIS!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Step 4 just saved my life (okay, my hair!) 😅 I could not figure out why my braids were always loose and now I know… Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I don't do much prep at all. Just comb it out and start. Also oil my scalp and moisturise my hair as I go. I have a video on how I set up my mirrors when doing the back of my hair kzread.info/dash/bejne/e6OIz5acftjYaZM.html

Thought I was the only one who braid using their middle fingers 😂 ❤
How do you keep your hair detangled without it reverting back?
@ehi6269
2 жыл бұрын
After detangling a section of hair, put it in a twist. That way it stayed stretched. When you want to braid or style your hair, all you have to do is loosen the twist and fluff it out with your fingers and you are good to go. If you hair is short and won't stay in a chunky twist more than a minute, I advise you get small hair clips. Dt way you twist it out and secure the ends with a clip of Bobby pin.

Please how do I manage my fingers during cornrowing, it makes me really stressed out

Thank u for your tutorials, they are helpful but I have a problem with picking up hair with my left hand as I cornrow. This makes my cornrows loose. Can you be of help.?
hi aida ive got the braiding technique down i just need a tighter grip. how can i cornrow and keep my fingers close to my scalp its hard to do that. when i braid my fingers arent touching my scalp. that is why my braids are loose. ill try to cornrow with my fingers touching my scalp. it will take some time

Hi, So I don't know if my hair is the problem or my hands but when I do cornrows it always looks frizzy. Do I need more practice or is there something I should be doing differently?
What do you use on your hair to be healthy?
how do you do stitch braids?
