I’ve been struggling with this trick for weeks, if I got the rotation it would flip, if it didn’t flip I wouldn’t get the rotation, this helped me start sticking it super consistently to where now I land it fairly often

Bro...I just discovered your channel and these really might be the best tutorials out there. As with the tip to slow things down on another video, this tip to draw a half circle might just be the ticket to bigspins for me. Like you say, some people have this natural gift to just do whatever, but for the rest of us mere mortal skaters it's little things like this that make the difference. Especially if you've been skating some time already and maybe built up incorrect muscle memory trying certain tricks. Keep up the good work, dude!

Sick man! Started trying these for the first time last night and it kept rotating so ima try that half-moon tip!

For real your tips go to that next level. One trick I can do on flat bars but for the life of me I can never get them on a ledge are blunt slides and nose blunt slides. They ruin my day everytime I try to learn them and I have been trying them for the longest time.

I remember the dark days of 411 trick tips, where Chet Thomas would explain fakie frontside kickflip noseslides to fakie like: aight, so you ride up fakie, kickflip, land on the nose, slide and roll away clean. I'd be all, yeah I got that far myself already, LOL.

I landed this today! And i can get it 3 out of 5 tries.. pretty much locked..yeahhhh.. how i managed this was weird, i was trying to do backtail on ledge, but cant seems to turn my body 90.. after hundreds of tries, then i got mad i just throw my body full turn 90.. then it clicked, on how to turn my body/shoulder.. tried few more backtails and landed many times.. then i tried the bigspin, it just clicked again.. now i eat fish curry to celebrate..😂

you need to have that back leg continue around with the scoop it will feel like your going to over rotate it for some reason off stuff it makes you want to not follow through with the scoop and you will land sideways or the board will flip so Drag that scoop foot all the way through hope this helps
