Man, you better hope he lives in Texas, or he's going to have to do a voiceover adding, "Our main character is a successful KZreadr, and while he thought he was just making a clever meta-joke, he's going to find out _that_ was his biggest mistake. See, this KZreadr lives in [a state other than Texas], and he just admitted on camera that he only thought the intruders were there to steal. He may have thought it was funny, but he probably won't be laughing for long once he's sitting in a courtroom, watching the DA play it for the jury at his trial for first-degree murder. But what do you think?" 😄 (Just in case: I really _do_ think your comment is clever, especially as something to visualize happening. But I also couldn't help but laugh when when you had him say "intent to steal," because even in states with the strongest protections for self-defense, except Texas, you have to at least have a reasonable belief that you or someone else is at imminent risk of death or great bodily harm before you can defend yourself with deadly force. So it was funny to think about someone who picks on the foolish choices characters make in movies basically record himself confessing to and committing a crime, which would _definitely_ be a foolish choice.)

The horror escape rooms are pretty good. They are more expensive, as they use live actors. Your "timer" for a room might be the zombie on a leash 6in from a pole, which is able to pull out more chain every 5min. There are some serial stabber ones where it forces you to split the party. One needs to run through a maze (the killer walks) while the other tries to open the exit for the other via puzzle. There's plenty of time, so I can only speculate on what happens if you fail this section. The serial killer actor would "stab" you with his metal painted knife and delare you "out".

Its just a pretty good setting for horror. How many other scenarios will a rational group of friends willingly enter a locked confined space at someone else’s mercy without lots of suspicion. Especially since things like blindfolds and handing over phones are a bit odd but fit the theme of an escape room enough that it doesn’t cause too much suspicion.

I think the escape room was completely automated with some of the puzzles acting as traps. That crossword puzzle seemed to be nothing more then a trap for the participants and didn't yeild any positive results, just like the air duct. In fact what if the mastermind was actually one of the participants. My money would be on Natasha as she was still alive when Tyler left the room and he didn't see he arm get ripped off.

Here's one for the teddy bear part: One of them could've taken off their shirt or pants or something, tie it around the lever, and then pull until the door is wide open, block the door with a couch or something, and then they both escape unharmed, they sacrificed a piece of clothing, but it's better lose a piece of clothing than getting your arm crushed and sitting their bleeding to death.

A better solution for the bear mouth mechanism is simply taking some piece of rope or binding (like their clothes), wrapping it around the pull switch, and then pulling on it. This allows the door to be open and the bears mouth to close fully on the soft fabric, not harming the users hand. The other individual can then prop open the door with something to keep it open so the other person can release the pull switch.

Agreeing to go in a car with blacked out windows where you don't know who is driving and then being blindfolded and led to the building is just stupid. You're putting yourselves in a situation where, if anything goes wrong, none of you know where you are or who took you there. Especially with giving up your phones.

I must be an idiot because I always thought the friend at the start that didn't go with them was the one that got them killed. I assumed so because she was always made fun of as being somewhat poor compared to the others, and at the end of the movie there is a scene that her is having a blast at a party while everything happened... Or maybe I am mixing up movies idk, it was terrible nontheless

For the bear trap, I think it's possible that Tyler could remove his trousers or his love sleeve shirt and tie it to the handle then they could open the door, because even if they still had the wires, the iron inside could snap it or it snaps on it's own when they try pulling it

so, the part with the bear mouth closing scene: there's plenty of newspaper around so use the newspaper to put it into the bears teeth way so Natasha doesn't get stabbed, or the better option is to break the bears teeth I'm willing to bet those aren't real or metal so breaking them won't be hard they could easily be snapped by a metal box in the room that looks to be there or the best option let that beech die, all she has been doing is making advances and distacting but you could still use her as a punching

He has the advantage of foresight because he is a viewer of an horror movie just like us. His videos are in fact movie reviews with the spice he adds with his cold-blooded, hyper-focused, survivalist and intelligent character. Yeah, the one portrayed in the video is a character, one that ends up being darkly-funny by the cold-blooded suggestions he makes (which fits the theme of horror-movies) You either like his character or not, it is a very subjective taste. I do like his videos because he talks about some horror gems I never heard about.

Faking a medical emergency would have been my first idea, too (in all these escape room movies). A seizure would probably be the easiest and simplest and doesn't involve actually hurting yourself in any way. While many medical professionals can tell if someone is faking a seizure (they need to closely observe seizures as different types need different treatments and also subtle thing IN the seizures can help them guess the cause, plus faking seizures is one of the most common things in people with Munchausen's), 99.99% of people cannot.
