One thing I like about the card scene is that we see that they all have the same title of “Vice President”. The cards don’t call out a specialty, region, department, etc. They’re just a room full of “Vice Presidents” probably because it’s an important title and that’s all that anyone would really care about. But throughout the movie, we don’t see them doing any actual work (even in that meeting). They go to lunch, play sports, go to parties, etc but they don’t seem to actually do anything for the business. It wouldn’t surprise me if the people who report to them do all of the actual work and they just take credit for it and keep getting promoted.

All the other details are also the same, like the phone number and telex number. In the bottom you can see the address of the company and what seems to be the central phone number. In the top left, there should be their direct phone number - but it's all the same. Maybe it's all him? 💁‍♂

It honestly feels like it is a mix of both. With this story, we see Patrick's fragile psyche start to unfold as he can't tell reality from hallucinations. This is apparent once he kills the homeless man and Paul as everything suddenly amplifies and everything starts blending together for him. The assault with the escorts happened, but murder wasn't. I feel like the drawings he's done are his outlet for his darker tendacies and until he snaps were able to things in check. The spree at the end was also an hallucination.
