Hey I'm using C.... after spending a few years programming in Python.... followed by a few months of Rust.... and a bit of JavaScript..... and the only reason I'm even using it is because it's used in five weeks of the cs50 computer science course....

yea that syntax @0:48 and operator overloading syntax in c++ is just horrendous BUT the explanation given was easy to understand if u get the lingo i think when u use the fn keyword to define a func in rust its actually a pointer to a function also why would a hello world program seg fault? 😆

I wrote an operating system myself using asm and cpp, but I gave up after having to import drivers and make it work for example I got tcp/IP working as long as it was via Ethernet, but failed making the wifi chip on my laptop work with my os, so at the end it was a dos like system with tcp/ internet access. (Was a school project, had to write something in a group of 3 people and that was what we came up with). It was fun nonetheless 🤣👍

Tbf you should pick a low level language as a beginner to find out how everything works under the hood before moving up to a higher level language, rough track i know but only logical one if you wanna REALLY know how it's all connected
