I use water decal paper to make decals for nails. I found that if I spray more than 2 coats, it becomes too thick to work with, but if I only do 2 coats, it bleeds. I don't know how to find a happy medium.

I've sprayed mine 7 times, tried 3 different kinds of spray (enamel & matte, & acrylic), and 2 kinds of clear waterslide.. I am still getting cracking. I've been making cups a long time.. I always apply slides to smooth cups. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I'm having problems with cracking - sprayed two times, very evenly and smooth surface, but it is still cracking...

I'm having same issue and I have sprayed at most 7 times. I've tried acrylic spray, matte and enamel. Nothing is helping.

Clear acrylic coating. You can purchase it on Amazon.
