How to Attach Parking Brake Cable to Caliper - Dodge Grand Caravan (Town and Country)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This video will show you how to attach (fit) the Parking Brake Cable to your Rear Brake Caliper on your Dodge Grand Caravan, and Chrysler Town & Country.
This video is demonstated on a Grand Caravan with standard (non-heavy duty) brakes. You can tell if your car has standard or heavy-duty brakes by looking at the FRONT caliper. Our vehicle has a single piston front caliper and so is fitted with standard brakes (heavy duty brakes have a dual piston front caliper).

@@YouWrench respect...my emergency brake is working again perfectly but it's taking me 3-4 pumps on the brake to come a complete stop as of right now...I've been suggested to look into buying a new booster and master cylinder so that's my next project.

Do you know the proper way to time the bracket on the back of the caliper if you previously removed it?

My passenger side pack brake cable can't use the way like this video; another solution is disconnect the brake cable in the cable bifurcation place, there is a adapter there, can be open a gap and remove the brake cable, this place could a short distance to reconnect...
