Mirrors and wands are way better than you suggest. They cost half mana to cast. And thus are amazing. Rings of discount give a flat discount to cast so having two major discount means you basically cast self leap for free and can fly without issue. Make sure to have a belt of levitation so you can tap crouch just before landing to eliminate all damage. Jar of voiding is crazy for mining. It gives mana for blocks it voids so mining for ancient debris you can literally run blasting range break AOE AOE and just stop when you run into ancient debris. If you encounter lava simply blast the floor to keep it from flowing out further and change direction. Use ritual of scrying with a piece of ancient debris and a essence to extend the time to get a stack or so of ancient debris in 15 minutes or less. Reactive is silly OP. Put heal on an armor piece or two etc etc. Ruinic chalk has too many applications to go into briefly but for instance… you can have a teleport scroll in a chest next to a ruin of blink to teleport to that location. It uses the first scroll in the chest but does not consume it so you can have all your friends bases named scrolls in the chest and teleport to them as you wish.

if you put heal on armor does it cost mana to use it when mobs hit you? what spell do you recommend bc if it is too powerful wouldnt your mana reserves be taking a hit every time you take damage?

This is so funny to bounce around the ars nouveau youtube content - see your comments - and then later realize that you were the one helping me. As a side question - have you played Rad 2? There are some slight changes made by the modpack dev in order to fit with other mods. Does reactive still work the same way? if you havent played rad2 then no worries thanks for the help

@@orsikoGG yup. I try and help out with… well anything I can. I know a few things about ars. I’ve played through rad 2 and while there are a couple of changes the big one is that it is an old version of ars so… glyph press, condenser, and mystical clay. But mostly it’s pretty doable. It’s the old version of reactive so you need to use the enchanting apparatus and a spell scroll to put the first level on something. You need to set the spell and then use it to enchant. Read the book for specifics. You can access it as usual by clicking on the worn notebook tab when you are constructing spells in the spell book.

Its madness that these days mods have mods to them and the base mode is considered vanilla😂

Maybe this Music repeating in every single Video each 30minutes long

the jar of voiding is actually extremly usefull for AOE break because the voided blocks generate an small amount of mana and if you use that with pickup as projectile or burst+aoe+break+pickup youre going to quarry an huge area restoring nearly all mana

This helpped when i was playing 1.16 and i enjoy making horizontal portals this playlist is super helpful across the board

I do now have 1.19 mod pack and having access to all of it is fun ^.^

If you change your spell color in the spellbook, the color of the sword blade, diadem on the bow and the tip of the wand will change color to match when loaded with your current spell.

Especially using chunk loaders, those warp portals could be extremely cool combined with Create - a dimensionally-transcendental factory, in which certain things are produced or processed in different dimensions (especially in a pack where resources vary even more drastically by dimension); a train terminal that exists in multiple dimensions at once; a contraption that lets you select a portal, and moves you to it, to access many places; a stable scroll linked above an ore processor that lets you unload a mining bore without needing to return, using only a handful of components (some shafts, belts, funnels/chutes, water/starbuncle wheel, a speed controller, and a portable storage interface - belts take no stress, so power it with a wheel, speed it to max, let the storage interface unload quickly and they just shoot off at ridiculous speed into the portal, emerging into the processor) And that’s just what *my* dumbass brain came up with, lmao

belt of unstable gift is not giving any negative effects, i worn it for hours and i guess i would have noticed :D [vers. 1.20.1)

So how does reactive work on armors? If an enemy hits you it activates the spell, but if my casting location is 'self' does it apply to me, or the enemy?

imagine using a stabilized warp scroll and blink building a massive obsidian cube in the nether and you just have a banishment ability

Im pretty sure launch isn't working for the bow because its trying to apply the force while the mob is already being knocked back from the arrow, and since the arrow knockback happened first its ignoring the spell force

I’m playing the medieval mod pack right now, and I can’t seem to find how to turn on the numbers for my mana to see if ars nouveau benefits from irons spells n spellbooks and apotheosis mana boosts, does anybody know?

The numbers on the mana bar are from an addon mod ars instrumentum. If the pack doesn’t have that you won’t be able to see it

The blink spell says it can bind to runes and those can be binded with warp scrolls to teleport entities to set locations. Anyone know how to bind the warp scroll to the rune? I'm trying to kill one of my friends on a server I made because he's exploiting.
