on a similar note, I believe it's also compatible with Apotheosis which naturally increases the max level of certain enchants so you get something like.. I think it's level 7-8 on certain enchants

hmm, I'm just making a new addon on create

newer versions of create deco have omitted either netherite or cast iron in favor of the other (i remember which), undergone a major texture rework, simplified the brick making to use palette stones instead of dyes, added new things such as shipping containers as fashionable alternatives to item vaults, and made most metal-type blocks craftable through a stonecutter

The conductors from Create Steam and Rails can be used for a lot more controlling trains. You can give them a toolbox, and when you equip something from the toolbox they follow you. If you give them a pair of goggles, you can pair an item that I forgot the name of that allows you to control them remotely and go through the vent blocks. You can use Redstone links with them but I have never figured out how to use them. And when they are conducting a train there is a whistle that you can bind to them that allows you to summon the train they are controlling. Edit: just remembered that if you are wearing the same hat as the conductor you can make them interact with Redstone.

How dare you mention interactive but exclude clockwork! It might be the best create addon ever, nothing fitd better a machinery mod than something that lets you make machines that use real physics and aren't bound to the world grid in any way

This video is exactly what I was looking for! create is sensational, and I say it with certainty, it is the definitive experience of creativity

Hey, this is a great video, but I feel as though it would be a good idea to give a disclaimer for the poor performance of create interactive due to a memory leak caused whenever contraptions disasemble. Its caused in such a way that it wouldn't be noticable on a survival world/server until its a large inconvenience to uninstall and fix all damage caused by ghost ships. Great video though, helping me put together my new modpack after interactive wrecked my server :p

I recently saw a mod that I think is called Create: Numismatics? It adds a money system that I think is perfect for create! Im supprised that its not in this video, but its still pretty cool!

I'm making an addon that attempts to extend create further into the "oceanic" range while adding a load of recipes, I'm really struggling with inspiration for what to add but I will finish it eventually. It will be a mostly item-based mod and will not add any functional create machines since I'm lazy and don't want to code it. Will be released on forge when complete.

One of my favourite underrated mods: some assembly required. It goes so perfectly well with farmer's delight and create, and allows you to make sandwiches out of any edible thing in the game. You can make giant factories pumping out conveyers of burgers if you want to, it's lovely.

Time to release my Create mod pack!

I'm glad someone else discovered dynamic villagers! It is one of my favorite mods because no matter how hard I try I could never find a blaze in the nether. So being able to buy them is awesome! Also glad I watched because I didn't understand the mechanical spawner

@@crazyjack746 that's true, just have a hard time finding them and I always end up dying in hardcore worlds so it's nice to occasionally get some. If I spend more than an hour looking then I'll buy one but I do my best to find my first batch in the world's I play in.

Dynamic Villages hasn't been updated to 1.20+ and dev says they probably won't so it's useless at this point, I think. I was going to download it as my progression so far is mid to late game in my newest world and I thought it would be nice to buy things instead of crafting them. Like fluid tanks. I hate crafting those and I'm not going to set up a mechanical crafter just to make tanks. That becomes a pain as well after a while. It's slow and can't do batches.

Not sure if anyone has said it yet but the bug with the stonecutter on the interactive contraption could have come from a steam and rails update. The most recent release from 2:00 today claims to have fixed it!

Fun fact: on December 2023, Create Deco has compatibility for 1.20.1. This update revhamped some of the mod, including catwalks.

the new catwalks are nice (especially the railings) but its super annoying how you can only place them flush, they used to be like trapdoors where they could either be flush with the floor or like a layer on top, which was way more useful.

If there's any Create addon you wouldn't see me play without it would be Create Steam and Rails. The QOL and additions Steam and Rails provides are something that makes the mod essential! I know some more Create addons I like to play with but weren't mentioned are Power Loader, Connected, Copycats+, Design n' Decor, Bells n' Whistles, and Interiors (all start with Create but I cut the name for brevity), most mods I have cited are add building blocks excluding Connected, but other than that I have mods that are cross-compatibility, like Ars Creo. Also can you link the mods in the description? Just helpful in case anyone checks out the video looking for addons to install alongside Create.

I think the stonecutter UI bug on a contraption is related to steam and rails (they also added this in their mod for train contraptions recently and it has some issues).

tom storage is also like a lite version of AE2, so if you are building a modpack and need inventory manager but AE2 is overkill, tom storage is one of the alternative

I liked the old smoke fromm Steam n rails more but the Interface ist cool

You should check out Create Aquatic Ambitions - small add on for sea related things and some automation for prismarine and copper (I made the addon)

Hm. I wonder how far we could push this Add-On thing into mixing mods. Tinkerers Constructs tools being used for chopping and mixing? Immersive Portals being added onto spinning platforms? Let's bring back some forgotten ones, like Inventory Pets, that one could use a modern revamp along with maybe a few integrations like with the blaze pet. LET'S START MOXING MODS!

Create: Stuff and Additions also has some really good jetpacks.

I’m surprised you didn’t talk about Renewable which allow you to create farms for every type of ingot in the game, including zinc and copper, meaning you could do a fully automatic brass farm. The addon is really simple but it pushes you to create more complex and interesting machines, and it gives a use to certain blocs which is quite interesting in my opinion !

@@V972 Yeah, Create: Dynamic Villagers is way too op, there’s literally a infinite emerald glitch where you can sell an iron pick for 2 emeralds and buy 4 iron for one emerald, it’s broken.

farmer's delight was literally made by one of the create artists thats why for example the builder's tea and hot cocoa look basicly the same

Does interactive crause issues when using embeddium or sodium? Cuz i used to play eureka with a sodium like mod and some stuff just didnt render

Pretty sure the stone cutter and crafting table were broken because Steam N' Rails also added that functionality, and that was causing a conflict.

You should try create : dreams and desires

Can you try the zetacraft mod? It adds a new dimension, tons of mobs, mini bosses and weapons, even some stuff from movies and anime and a giant robot you can pilot and has some devastating weapons.

You missed really cool mode called Create: Factory Must Grow

Addon idea it's more of a client thing but jade add-ons and jade I always use them and with jade add-ons there is a some neat create bridge visuals

Guys, hear me out, vampirism+ULTRACRAFT+create addon which would allow us to fuel our machine with *blood* (on version 1.16.5 we could also possibly use the Tinkers Construct blood and Blood Magic blood)
