The mining crossbow brings my server to a halt. Thank you!

I remember my first impression on Ars Noveau was... Not the greatest. It was in an ATM8 server with my work friends and one friend in particular, who is often the chaos starter, got really deep into this mod. I let him visit my base in my early phases of the pack and he went "im gonna test out a new spell i created." Then promptly blew up half of my base. He helped fix it by placing like 5 blocks then signed out for the night.

But ATM9 got updated since then. In the Backpacks, you cant put that many stack upgrades in. Now its limited to 2

Loving the tutorials. So helpful. You do a great job of breaking it all down.

A nice quality of life thing... spell slots can be assigned a hotkey for use while holding a spellbook. This is useful for a ton of commonly used spells.

Try projectile > launch > amplify x5 > delay > gravity > extend time. I call it seismic toss. See what happens lol

scribe's table can also pull out items from nearby chests to fill the needs of the glyph being scribed.

@@EpicEnchants I like projectile > linger > extend time x5 > lightning > snare > discharge. Costs a huge amount of mana but just obliterates everything lol

yo dude, I'm wondering if you can help me with an issue im having with the AFK End mob farm you bilt. Everything works as you said, its amazing. but im getting lots of shield and trident drops from the endermen that dont process through the salvagers. Ive tried lots of trouble shooting and not smart enough to find a way around it? if you can help or have any suggestions id really appreciate it as im sure everyone will also be having this issue too. Here is a quick list of spells I generally found useful. Summon enderchest Charge (increases all damage and your movement speed) Teleport Root (prevents all non magical movement) Flame dash works with elytra to act as a boost Heal (heals yourself) Oak skin (damage reduction up to 50%) Heart stop (stops player from taking damage for a certain span of time, all damage accumulated in said time is divided by 2 and dealt to the player in a single burst after the effect ends.) All eldrich spells are strong but high mana cost Black hole is probably the most devastating spell in the game in terms of damage. You can find all spells on the wiki page or JEI. Hope this was helpful

I played Ars Nouveau on Valhesia, and the novice spell book needs 4 tools with high-ranking material to make. Does that even make sense, I just want to get started with basic spells which I can't even do that

Any summon spell could be beneficial to summon allies in a pinch without having to fiddle with your spellbook, summon decoy is a pretty obvious good one to have, or Snap for a quick little reaction attack personally, i like using launch > amplify a few times, then wind shear, it's not very "effective" but it is extremely fun to send your enemies flying

Made the bow, it was insane but... The moment I made it into an Apotheosis bow it stopped working :/ When I right-click it just "jumps" in my hand as if I have no arrows, but it shows that I do, shows the stack and everything, just won't charge/shot it. Any idea why?

So… I often see people recommend adding amplify to fling for flying but… don’t do that. rings of greater discount is a flat discount for each spell that stacks and self fling costs nothing at that point. So… no need for bounce as you can fling the entire way including landing. You can do it with one ring and a wand which is even earlier in game progression.

Someone please tell me is Ars Nouevae just Ars magica? Because I’m playing on a server with friends on 1.7.10 and wanted to know if it’s its own mod for later versions or just an add on

Its similar but its functionally different I prefer ars magica but im bias to dropping a star on my friends

Are you using rings that reduce the cost of spells? Also the Unobtainium Mage Armor is not for Ars Nouvuea its for Irons Spells and Spellbooks they both use Mana but its not compatible

I play on atm9 and it works fine for me. Maybe you used the brown ars book, not the spellbook?

its the one added by allthemodium, but if ur looking for one to play outside of atm i like advanced mining dimension by henkelmax :)
