*UPDATE!* The Morgan Cap has been reduced to 5000 from the original 5.000.000 in one of the newest Versions of ATM. Also you now only require 26 Ender Upgrade Orbs instead of 83. It still is super powerful though, there never was really a need for 5 Mio Damag to be honest :D

5k Caliburn seems to need 26 upgrade orbs, 25 gives you 4500.

For getting a lot of mana you can make some witch spawners and a bunch of life drains, the witches will never die because they heal themselves allowing you to stack a lot of them, then craft a ton of attuned diamonds and fill them up Thats how i did it and its pretty fast

You can farm a lot of potions this way too. Even just a mob masher with no sharpness upgrades and a maxed out witch spawner

you can also use the spell which consumes mahou to exchange a certain dust powder into another, tranforming it and using up mahou. i also used the setup with multiple spells which consumes durability of tools to gain mahou. from then i used a dropper with an item collector for the dust exchange

i did it with any mobs and got crazy and placed alot of drain life and in about an hour i have 72k max mahou from 100

If you have more than 4 or 5 boundaries of drain life the witches can't out-heal the damage. Luckily ATM9 also has Apotheosis, so making a fast witch spawner is a piece of cake, you can even find them in the wild in some of the higher end dungeons. But a simple piglich spawner and a mythical sword with loot pinata will solve you piglich heert problems if you can't locate am already good witch spawner.

latest version of Apotheosis lets you spawn baby version of mobs by using an turtle egg to spawners

You should make a video on the wannabee. There's almost no information about it online. I made a mob farm for each of these mobs with it and got most of the materials super quick. You use the resin bee to encase mobs and the wannabee uses that as it's feeding slab and produces it's drops. It's op.

@@Glittertrut in atm 9 there is a mod called apotheosis, with the capturing enchantment ( 0.4% per lvl) you can get an spawn egg. for baby villagers you need a turtle egg

also something that should be noted, adding eternal stella makes this unbreakable and remove the durability. the sword must be unenchanted for it too work, you will also need a smithing plate. look in the recipe for which specific one.

I made a Morgan with a 18k limit, but knowing this, I will go down even more insanity. Btw, I automated my mob farm to generate tons of mahou. No more mob masher, I can basically never die with unobtanium armor and have 18 million mana always available. Just spam some spawners, get the spawn times low and use mob fans to get the mobs out of the spawner range to not get affected by entitiy limits

If you guys dont want to go through ArsNouveau just yet, you can Farm the Pyromancer/Apothecarian (hit them first to be able to use the mob swab) and than just strip the runes with Shriving Stone in auto crafting, boom, blank runes without ArsNouveau

i been looking for week for a guide, always mentioning Nether stars, finally an well put video about the matter.

@@EpicEnchants maybe killimg a villagers and wandering traders can also be an option since those can also be considered inhumane there, plus if we can do it with wandering trader, we van have both achivements of inhumane and this is personal that gives us AlfredGG sword

Before turning Caliburn into Morgan you should increase Caliburn's damage as much as possible. I have a 20k dmg Caliburn (I don't think I need more, so I stopped here) and all I did was throw it into the lake (around 10 times) with max sharpness, smite and vorpal enchants. And by max I mean something around 10, not 5

@BenBensen293 maybe it depends on how far into the modpack are you. I got my 20k dmg Caliburn in under 1h. But I used max enchants aviable in atm9 (max smite, sharpness and vorpal) and max here is something around 10, not 5. At that moment I had an enderman farm (for apotheosis godforged pearls) so exp wasn't a problem.

In the latest version of atm 9 they reduced the innate cap to 5000. I was pulling my hairs out as to why it wasn't working after spending hundreds of ender upgrade orbs only to find in the config files that the hard cap is 5000 instead of 5000000

You can also use nether stars to increase the innate cap. I used 5 stacks of nether stars and got the max cap.

i just made 3 caliburns thinking i did something wrong... thankfully i have alot of mats and getting enderpearls fast is easy with gateway portals but still.. im very sad and thankfull i found this comment

if you need to upgrade innate cap with morgan already made you can put it in a disenchantment mycelial generator. Not sure how it works but i accidently did this and it took all my enchantments off the sword and increased the innate cap from 100 to 10,000

Sadly indestructible items don't work the item needs to have a durability bar. But yes you can use items with waaay higher durability later on in the playthrough ^^

What apotheosis gems would you put in? I have +2 to enchants and will be getting the loot goblin gem. Is there a 3rd you recommend. Obviously, damage gems are meaningless.

ist it better to just keep caliburn and automate the enchantment and droping process?

nice tutorial! just one question. lets say i did everything mentioned, got the morgan with max dmg cap. can i still put enchants on it at that point like Looting III, or do i ahve to do that while its still a caliburn or even the basic diamond sword?

My AE2 system tells me that 322 arcane ingots and 322 cinder essences is wrong (and so does the calculator). The correct number is 332

How can you know all that stuff? you play a lot or research on internet? very gj :O

Make sure if you use a magnet, turn it OFF before throwing in the ender orbs. My magnet pulled the stack of 64 back to me and just used the stack of 19 my first go, had to re-enchant it with smite and do it again with the stack of 64 it didn't use the first time. Ends up with an innate cap of 640k. Feels bad, man. Don't be like me.

Does it matter if I put more enchants on my sword? For example if i had smite and sharpness on my sword, would that increase the damage even more? And what about the fact that ATM9 allows for those spells to even be increased to lv X?

Try in creative mode (in another world or smth) and tell us the results, 1 control 2 for testing (smite+sharp) (smite 10) maybe also (smite10,sharp10), im going to sleep

Just so yall know, there's a 3rd better way to farm mob resources, albeit a little grindy and a bit harder to get, which is wannabees, (look up the spawn egg recipe in JEI) and amber bees, which are spawned using their egg that you sometimes find from brushing suspicious sand/gravel in cold ocean ruins.

Yes I think they capped it for ATM8 at a lower level but 200 sounds kind of low tbh

What would be stronger? A sword with 5 mil damage or a sword that sets any mob or player health instantly to zero? For the second option search for blade of cosmos from the mod Avaratia, it is expensive but the weapon and armor from it are very powerful since the armor there can make you basically not die to the 5 mil damage morgon. The only mod that beats the infinity sword and infinity armor are those that manipulate the player health directly, idk the name but the mod is used in crazycraft modpack.

@@TungPham-iv8bg avaratia isn't in there, none of the ATM modpacks do, atleast ATM3 and above, haven't ever played ATM 1 and 2. Edit: I just put it as a suggestion, in ATM Morgan is the strongest by far but if you were to add avaratia then it wouldn't even matter and I suggested that just from a comparison pov

you forgot to mention 1 thing. How long you would have to commit infanticide if you do it manually xD. IDK about getting an auto clicker

So for some reason I can't get it right. I tested it in a creative world and it worked but when I did it in my survival server multiple time, it never did. I throw down 83 ender upgrades and then the first time enchanted caliburn but the upgrades stay floating and caliburn only has increased damage. It also just consumes around 5k mana which is needed for only upgrading damage not the cap.

Did you also copy the Redstone part? So adding a lever? Alternatively you also need a puller module which pulls the items from the storage to the Modular router. You could also check with the middle mouse click on the activator module the side where the villagers are supposed to be spawned. If none of that works you can also come into the discord and post your question there with some Screenshots ^^

rip looks like they nerfed it in one of the latest updates, cap is not set to 5k even my old sword with 5M damage cap has been set to 5k still an op sword but kind of sad to not have super funny number anymore

The mod the Morgan's from, Mahou Tsukai, has one sword that is even stronger. The Clarent. However there's some tricks and caveats to it. First, you obtain the Clarent by applying the Strengthening spell from Mahou Tsukai onto any diamond sword then you right right that sword into dragon's breath (look it up). The way the Clarent works is that while you hold right click with it, any hits on you get added onto the Clarent's damage however the moment you left click with the Clarent all that damage goes away, it's a stockpile type of thing. What if I told you there are ways to keep the stockpilled damage of the Clarent? The mod itself provides you a way: the Treasury Projection Gauntlet. You obtain it by using a scroll of Treasury Projection (remember you can always look up Mahou Tsukai spells through the mod's own book). With the gauntlet you can use any melee weapons on your inventory and ender chest as "arrows" (unfortunately pickaxes count, just hide anything you don't want summoned as "arrows" into backpacks), it's not very precise and uses up a ton of mahou BUT the huge benefit is that IT DOESN'T RESET THE CLARENT'S STOCKPILLED DAMAGE. So with this combo you can pretty much summon a cloud of "hornets" that could deal MILLIONS OF DAMAGE EACH. It's really easy to farm damage with the Clarent, my predilect method is by throwing a good Morgan into a pile of zombies, grabbing the one that grabs it, then defending myself with a Clarent against that zombie (very very very easy to get a Clarent that deals millions of damage). There's likely other methods to use the stockpilled damage of the Clarent without resetting it, like I swear at one point I could give zombies a Clarent that dealt 2 million damage and they could keep using it without the damage ever resetting but that no longer seems to be the case (or maybe I'm wrong). Maybe it works with the Create deployer or the modular router? Didn't seem like so to me, but there's certainly some method out there to use that damage consistently, it's definitely worth some experimentation.

so i threw in 83 ender upgrades, and it didnt give me the 5M cap? did they nerf it in the more recent ATM9? releses? used a diamond sword with Smite 5, My cap was 5000

Sadly not as mentioned you need Mana/Mahou for the increase and since the Modular Router cant replicate the Mana it cant increase the damage

No sorry, its custome made but it would be amazing if it existed :D There is a mod called "Just Enough Calculations" which allows you to calculate the resources needed but sadly its not updated yet for 1.20 so we cant use it for ATM9 yet

Because it is harder to increase the cap with Smite (so as the Caliburn) then it is with Villagers ^^

This no longer works as of version 0.2.40 The cap has been lowered to 5000 First you throw in the *26* ender upgrade orbs, then your enchanted sword You can use any sword, even an allthemodium alloy sword, which has a base damage of 47 Enchanting it with smite 1 gives it a 0.6 increase in damage, while smite 10 gives 6 Only give it other enchantments after converting it to the morgan

Greetings! This is a really helpful tutorial but I'm stuck at something. When I throw in the orbs as per tutorial, the damage cap I eventually get is 5000, NOT the promised millions. Has this been a recent change in the game config? I'm rather disappointed by it! Note: I am doing this in a creative world to test things first, but I am doing it in survival, step by step. If anyone knows what's wrong, please do let me know
