Thanks SO MUCH for this video! I just used your method to apply 24 (twenty-four!) mirror stickers to the Lego Space Shuttle Discovery set. No crooked stickers, no bubbles-totally perfect. One thing people might try as well is getting the Lego piece wet too-that helped.

@@francoisregis2155 it worked very well on the cargo doors of my Lego shuttle. The stickers still look great months later. Like I mentioned, I got both the sticker and the Lego pieces wet, and that gave me a bit more time to get the stickers placed perfectly.

Hey Rob, I came to this video for the exact same reason as you and then saw your comment. I can confirm your method is superb! It worked absolutely fantastic and I had zero problems in applying the stickers. Here is what i also recommend: 1) use a pair of rubber gloves to avoid any fingerprints on the sticker 2) use a pair of twezzers when you take the stickers off the sheet and when you put the sticker in it's place. 3) After applying the stickers use a Q-tip to flush out any possible bubbles or water under the stickers. You result will look fantastic!

At last someone REALLY shows in details how flexible the wet method seems to be. What I am most curious about is: Has someone long term experience with the durability? I would imagine, not all moist would always come out from underneath the sticker and could possibly break contact between sticker and plastic over the years? Any experience?

Do they stay long term? The same or longer than the “traditional” method?

sorry for late reply, but yeah as you apply pressure to push out excessive water out, the sticky side will stick to the surface and remaining moisture will be slowly pushed out
