@@masterismael23 I’ve been practicing on this little incline, I think I’ve got it I just kinda have trouble transferring the weight to the front of the board sometimes.
@alexmedrado2

Something I did that worked was: 1 find a low transition and set the board to drop in pos, 2 put all your weight on your back foot and balance it, stay balanced and comfy, then 3 I kind of lower my body, using the back leg as a spring and then shift my balance to the front foot in a way that my only option is to get it right or bail. It has had close to 100% success rate, so far. It still scares the $hit out of me! But I made it in a way that the only choice is to get it right, or to get hurt. Good luck, my dude!

Getting back into skating @31, I never could air on a quarter 🫣 this has given me so much more knowledge. I can carve just like I was 15 fs bs so I got balance and control over the board just scared to fly 😂😂 gonna invest in some gear before I attempt though.. thanks for the content❤

I learned them over a 5 foot bowl hip carving around figuring out lines: I started aiming to hit one or both back wheels off the coping- going straight up hits both wheels and you have to make at least some rotation backside to go back in…but realized that even hitting one wheel in a big carve works to get me “the air carve”…been skating almost 40 years so sometimes progression is slow- nowadays I’ll probably just start under the coping…then inch my way up…I noticed seeing a vid that my legs suck up like an ollie but I don’t turn my front foot. Thanks for the vid! I’m working on it too!
I finally won my months-long battle with frontside airs a couple weekends ago (did a video over on my channel if you want to check that out). Wish I'd had this video over the summer, great stuff as always man, keep it up!

You know what's missing from all of these baseball field cement skateparks? Color. Just realized this. Color and ART is needed in all of these parks, all across the country.
@SkateparkLessons
8 ай бұрын
They sometimes incorporate skateable art out of concrete and they’ll also add color to the concrete mix but graffiti ruins skate parks. It fills the concrete pores with slick paint and makes it harder to see the shape of the concrete or debris. 💙🛹💙
As always good video :)

Get a group together to petition for a skatepark! I just did it for a local city here! 🛹🙌🏽🛹
This homie Adrian who is involved in the DIY build scene here in New Mex actually “air carves” backside over the coping…we figured out that he doesn’t realize it a lot if the time…he’s just skating so fast that he floats over whipping through a pocket…I’ve seen a couple people over the years just skate like that…like THEY think they don’t have a “trick bag” but their trucks are all over the coping too. Though I realize that Adrian and Noel are freaks of nature….sometimes I wonder if a BIT of that can rub off on people
