Too fun! Love the panels and the secret tip about matching the panel to the border instead of vice versa. I know I would have done it the other way, but your result is far cuter. It's nice to see you having fun with this stuff! Thanks for sharing!!
I cannot remember ever seeing pieced borders likes these on a panel to become quilt size. And to offset tge panel if you wish. All are just stunning. I have panels that will now be fun to work on.
Hands 2 Help 2018 is starting next month. Now I want a couple of panels to make kid quilts with! Thanks for another great tute Jenny and MSQC. #inspiration
Excellent! I have seen some great panels, but, never tried them because I couldn't figure out how to make a quilt out of them. This is great. Wish you had done a square and shown how to make it a rectangle.....oh, wait, maybe you did. Will have to watch again! This is really appreciated! Tks!!!
My favorite is the Unicorn quilt with the large and small pinwheels! Gives me so many ideas!!!
I just bought this unicorn panel last week. This gave me a great idea for how to border it. Thanks Jenny! I’ve learned so much from you, and you never disappoint!!! My granddaughter will be soooo happy!!
Hi Jenny - that's great - now I know what to do with my panels. Thank you for the great tutorial. Your projects are always fun.

Holy Cow! This will solve the beautiful fabric I just can't bear to cut up. I'll just use it as a panel. There's more lights coming on in the room. Thank you Jenny for getting me started 🤗🤔

I just finished a double panel quilt using piano keys in between & on either side. Then made the whole thing longer (top & bottom) using additional boarders. Thank you for the great ideas!!
This is perfect timing, i just got a panel and I had no idea how to frame it, now I have options! I think im going with the whimsical pinwheels. Love it!!! Thank you jenny!
wow the one with the unicorns is spectacular......what a cool idea for....
Well done! You have gotten my creative juices flowing where my panels are concerned. Thank you very much!
Wonderful inspiration. Thanks Jenny!! ❤
Love the creativity with the block for panels! Brilliant!
I never would have thought of matching pinwheels with a panel but it looks amazing. 😀
Thanks, Jenny! I love how you made the small Easy 8 from one section of the large Easy 8. Love your channel!

Love it. Love it. Love it❣️ ❤️🤗❤️
Excellent advise on this, Jenny! Many blessings!
Jenny, I love all of your tutorials
This tutorial is so helpful! I’ve had a Van Gough panel of tulips that I bought from MSQC ages ago & haven’t used it because I didn’t know what to do with it! Now I know-thank you!
Love that tip for the smaller pinwheels. May have to look at some panels.
Great panel ideas...I am so happy you did this video...I have two panels I am going to try to do two different designs you showed today.
Thanks for this tutorial, I couldn’t ever get my panels to match my blocks now I know your trick.
Love the mini pin wheels. Very cute.
Yayy a How To tutorial! (later).... Oh my! Do you realize how many little girls I know that would love the last quilt? Unicorns are big right now (I even have a unicorn onesie for myself!). I never knew quite what to do with one of those panels so thanks for giving me great ideas!
I love the unicorn panel
Thanks for sharing these great ideas incorporating panels into quilts!
Wonderful Jenni. Such Talent!!!!
Love these!
I love the pinwheels borders. So much more cute to use 2 sizes!
I haven't done panels yet. Got to many quilt patterns yet to finish. Thanks for the great idea though! Keep teaching me!
Awesome Jenny!! Love your tutorials! I spend far too much time watching your tutes!!
I really like the 2nd one. It would make any panel into a beautiful wall hanging. Thank you.
Thank you so much Jenny this has helped me so much when using panels. You are an amazing woman
Thank you so much for this great idea. I have the second panel and could not figure out how to make a quilt out of it but now I know. 😄 Love all your videos and your great ideas!!! You are such a good teacher.
The magic solution..... I have struggled trying to fit quilt blocks to panels!!! Thank you for the light bulb moment Jenny!! Fit the panel to the blocks.
There is so much to learn. Thank you for sharing you expertise with us.
Another great tutorial! I can always use ideas for panels. More videos like this would be great!

Thanks for the idea's when using the panels they are awesome!
love this Jenny you are so funny didn't know you can do magic lol love these ideas thank you
You are so awesome, thank you God bless
This tutorial is fantastic! I have panels that I want to use as gifts but had no clue what to do around the panels. I'm very much a "pattern" girl and follow directions well but am not naturally creative. I can do this though! Thank you, Jenny!

Great job love Jenny
Great ideas here. Thanks Jenny😊
I love using panels! Nice way to make it personal.
Liked the third one the best, but great ideas on all of them!
WOW! Great ideas for using panels. I just made one, but wasn’t happy with the results. I bordered it but couldn’t get away from the idea that it needed to be centered. It would have been so much better if it had been offset like some of the panels you showed in your video. Like some of the others, I have a few more panels that I bought then put away and forgot because I couldn’t figure out what to do with them. Now I have some ideas that I will try! Thanks! Another creative tutorial.
Very timely for a project I began using Rodeo Up layer cakes and charms I ordered from MSQC. Just happened to create my own center panel with those two sizes and sashing. My questions were answered re matching other blocks to that "panel."
I have always stayed away from panels because I was unsure how to finish them; thanks for the ideas 😀
Great ideas, Jenny! I always knew you were magic, and now they've caught it on camera. :D
Thank you for another amazing tutorial! The quilts are just beautiful
Great ideas when using panels
Thank you! Perfect for a Trolls panel that I’m trying to use!!
Love this video. Great ideas.
if something is not for you find something else. It's sad that 100+ thumbs down. I love your teaching. And your quilts.
Great panel ideas .... thank you ... now to pull out and use all the panels I have hoarded. .

This is brilliant! Thank you so much! Oh, the ideas 💡😎
This is awesome. Thank you
Thank you very much
This couldn't have come at a better time, thank you, again for your time and talent.
Great tutorial
I need to see how to make a quilt backing with a panel because my fabric is too narrow. Great video!
Thanks so much! I was recently wondering how to incorporate panels into my hobby.
Thanks for the great insight with how you work with single panels. There are panels which are made of multiple panels within, would love to see a video on how to use these in a quilt.

Thanks! I would have done this bas-ackwards!
Did you notice the quilting throughout the sky makes the panel look like a jigsaw puzzle Interesting choice.
Dear Madame, goid morning and Thank you firma yr tutorials. I have two questions. It's necessary to wash all fabrics before the sewing? You send yr items also in Italy? Many Thanks foto te kind answer. Hugs from Italy 👏👏💕👏 💕👏💕
On the panel with the horses, wouldn't it be fun to add a picket fence on the bottom portion of the panel in front of the horses? You could use plain white, or perhaps find a fabric that looks like woodgrain.

Janet Maple You know, the amazing ideas that come out of these comments is not to be believed. What a fantastic idea, Janet!! Sometimes I like reading the comments more than watching the videos. Mind if I use this fencing idea on another panel I'm doing? Thanks for your input, Janet.
The panels are adorable and the blocks that complete the quilt top are great, but the quilting on each really detracts from the overall effect. It makes them look like a puzzle. I love the idea, but I won't quilt mine so densely.
Thank you! Panels are lovely but always drive me crazy as I don’t want to simply add sashing....one thing that I get from this tutorial is to keep it simple, I.e. one block for the whole piece instead of different blocks that ma6 make the whole piece too busy. Thanks
This is genius!!! Thanks Jenny!!! This is a beautiful, modern take! I have the Lone wolf panel from Northcott and want to make it for my cousin. However, I don't like the look of the examples that I've found using nature panels. They tend to be a bit too traditional. If you use Railfence for horses, gray brick for deer, and a whimsical pinwheel for unicorns, what would you do with a wolf that is modern and different? Thanks for any suggestions from anyone!

I would still probably use Fencerail blocks. However, simple chevron blocks could be really neat too. :)

It's RAIL FENCE!
I would love to see a tutorial about how to machine sew a binding border to a scalloped edge?
Would you trim the panel but include 1/4 inch on either side of the measurement of the panel for seams when attaching the border blocks to it?
💎👗
Great tutorial as usual. I just finished sewing a baby panel quilt. Jenny do you square your panels before making the quilt top? Sometimes they seem printed crooked. Thanks!
@MissouriQuiltCo

I do recommend squaring up your panel.
I did dear one to my wolf one
This could not have come at a better time since I promised my grand-daughter a Unicorn quilt. Question.....did you use white yardage or did the white come in the 10 in pack? Is the border on the side and top of the panel 2 1/2inches? Thank you
What would you use for a Paris panel?
Jenny por favor....podria hacernos el tutorial de los aros?muchisimas gracias.....
Muy buenas ideas. ¿Conocéis los aranceles que pagaría un envío a España? Un saludo desde Barcelona
Hi Jenny great tutorial. I wonder is there a way to do a particular size of pinwheel? For example if I wanted the pinwheel to be 2.5" or 3" how do I work that out with the easy 8? Thanks .

Jane Shaw if you go to Missouri stars web site and click on the blog, then once you are on the blog, there is a search bar. Search ‘Easy Pinwheels’ and a chart will come up! Good luck
All your tutorials are so wonderful! Can you tell me why you sometimes make HST by sewing a 1/4” around the outside of a block then cut to make 8 HST and sometimes draw a line crosswise then sew a 1/4” outside each line then cut to make the triangles like you did in this video?
