As a retired teacher, I would be thrilled with the quilt.
Oh thank you Angela for another great video . I’m so happy your back. We have all missed you so much.💕
I have been in a quilting funk all year. I own a small business and the worry over the survival of the business and caring for and retaining my employees during the pandemic has been overwhelming. I have been a fan of you for years. In fact I “won” a fat quarter bundle from you years ago. I still have that bundle, its special! Sooooo very happy to see you are back midnight quilting! I am feeling that itch to quilt coming back after watching your first two new videos. Thank you for sharing your love of quilting!
I love this as an option for those people who deserve a quilt, but that I don’t know well enough to produce a family heirloom for. Like that super helpful co-worker that you haven’t seen in person for almost a year.
I know that I am not the only one that is Sooooo happy that You are Back as The Midnight Quilter!!! 💖
I’m very happy you are back. I think you are funny and I love your quilt shows.
Very sweet of you to make that quilt for your kids' teacher. She will love it. It's so beautiful! (This is why I make little zipper pouches so often. I don't have time to make all the quilts I want to make for people. LOL)
I would love to see an episode where you show us how to do the math so we can make a border like this one but so it fits any size quilt we are working on
Angela you and I have spent some quality time together this year. I got challenged to teach myself machine quilting. Between buying books and watching videos I am on my seventh quilt. Thank you so much!
I'm so glad you are doing your own show
I'd love to rejoin your videos. I'm old school. I remember the popcorn. This is beautiful quilt
It is so wonderful when a parent takes the time to truly thank you for teaching their child and them! Thank you for taking the time to recognize your children's teacher!
Sister you never disappoint! I enjoy you just being you. That border is fabulous, I can’t wait to try it. And duh, make the panel fit the border; genius. I need your common sense.
So happy to get to watch your videos again. I missed you so much! This is such a great idea for a gift! You are such an awesome teacher! We spent a week with each of our two families to help our grandsons. We have 3 grandsons in two different families. YES, we understand how hard it was for parents to do this. And I am a teacher by profession, but now retired. I cannot even imagine how hard it was to be both working from home at your full time job and also having to monitor your child’s or chlldren’s schooling. We did nothing else and it was not a walk in the park by any means. Thank you for all you do to help us quilters out there to be successful in our quilt-making.
great video with some awesome ideas for easy borders. Our niece's comment during lockdown & home schooling was; 'no one in school told me that one day I would need to teach algebra to my boys!! HELP'
Beautiful job
So I got a little teary at the prospect of you quilting for your kids teachers. These teachers are going to feel so appreciated.

teachers are essential workers♥
Love your sense of humor
I've learned so much from this Gurley right here! She really has done so much for the quilting world. I would havebnever tried free motion without her hard work in producing teaching videos.
As a retired teacher and now a teacher Nana, I am glad that you are so appreciative of the teachers. I watch how hard it is for the teachers with distance learning through my grandchildren. The educators are trying so hard to make it fun and interactive..
I didn’t realize how much I missed your awesome videos. I’m so glad you’re back.

Echo, echo!!!
"I'd give them a kidney, but not a quilt". This made me laugh so hard, because I can totally relate.
Angela, I love your videos! Thanks!!
Another Great Quilt & and Episode of your new Midnight Quilter! Thanks for teaching us SO Much! We have Missed you! Piper Hensley Polka Dot Quilter
I loved the blue braided Dresden! Thanks for sharing your work!
Loved the Dresden plate episodes. Makes me want to rush out and make one right now! Thank you for being so much fun. Annette Young
Beautiful border!
I really appreciated you, I have a health issue and do not walk well. . I have learned so much from you but more then just that I ALWAYS laugh watching you. Happy Thanksgiving.
Your show is better than ever. Love your cheerful attitude. And this border is awesome!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and I am so thankful for you being here every week.
Awesome! Thank you for showing how to straighten a panel. I always hesitate to buy a panel, except yours and Natalia's, because they are always off-grain. Love the quilting!!! Shout out to all our awesome school staff, care givers, front line police and fire personnel, restaurant staff... Everyone out there working hard! Thank you all!!
It's so nice to have you back!
Thank you yet again Angela for such a great video. Your work is amazing! And you make it look so easy. Glad to have all your tutorials to help me in my new to free motion quilting journey. I’m a Nana helping with the home schooling and so feel your pain! Teachers are AMAZING!!!
Gorgeous quilting 😸😃🇩🇰
Yay - the midnight quilter has returned!!! I can’t believe I’m just now noticing that you sew standing up. Do you find that helps your back? If so, could you please describe how you developed your set-up?
Lovely, unique borders. Love the slight asymmetrical pops. After teaching online classes for 15 years, I feel for all the parents who were thrown into the stressful plight of dealing with technology and teens at the same time, not to mention the stress of potential illness. Good job, Angela.
Hopefully a good Thanksgiving to your family. Beautiful quilt. I am thankful for these quilting moments.
Thank you for showing how you quilted it and the final reveal of the borders. The border is a great complement to this quilt and to the one in the recently finished ruler challenge. I am thankful that I found you as a quilt teacher and that I am now settled enough to quilt along and to learn. Thanks Angela.
Great video and what a great way to "dress up" a panel. (Teaching your own kids is always a challenge. I was a teacher for years & I know!) For us, you're always a fantastic teacher & I enjoy working through your ideas in your videos. Well done & thanks.
Gorgeous quilt, beautiful gesture!
You are so talented! I love your ideas for the borders!(Sherry )
I am so glad you are back! Love Midnight Quilter even more because you able to take more time and show things in more detail. Thank you so much!
I don’t think I’d even qualify for the show “Are you smarty then a fifth grader “ 😅 They teach the kids so much more nowadays than they did in the 80’s. I love your videos and I think what you are doing for your children’s teachers is wonderful. God bless you, 🙏🏻
I enjoyed your tutorial, the way you did the stitch and flip in the borders, and especially the quilting. A wonderful thank you to the teacher, it will be loved and used for years to come.
You may say that you are not good at math (?) but you’re a whiz at puzzles ... and quilting. Beautiful quilt. Thank you.
FABULOUS! The teacher will love this quilt. I know that I would. Side note: I love watching you machine quilt.
Thanks Angela. I have bought a couple of panels and have not used them. Your instructions on squaring up the panel are very helpful and I enjoyed seeing how you accented it with the borders.
I had no idea borders could be so fancy! ❤️
You really jazzed up that panel with borders and the quilting, lovely quilt, lovely idea to gift to one of our frontline workers.
Your awesome!! Loved that you needed help with the math 🤣🤣 totally me!! What a great idea for this panel!! Gonna have to get the kit 🥰 Thank you for all you do!! So thankful to have you back!!
I missed you so much.
I use small squares cut from my scraps box as leaders and enders. Keep adding more squares as leaders and enders, and eventually you end up with a whole "postage stamp" quilt top.

I have done the same
Thank you for a great video. There are so many panels on the market I never know what to do with them. Your panel is one of my favorites.
I have never seen boarders like that before. Beautiful, and so much easier than they look. Thank you, I always learn so much from you.
What a lovely message to share at this time of year. I'm so thankful to count you among my teachers, Angela!
Angela, love this idea! You would be on my list for people who stood out during this pandemic. So generous with your knowledge and skill your classes made me a better quilter and had so much fun learning new skills. Thank you, Teacher!
i love the border design!
Love the look of the added borders! And your quilting as well. Enjoyed the challenge using that panel - would have liked that border on my quilt too. Will have to try it on something else. Also, I'll ditto your recognition of teachers, being a retired one. Cheers from 🇨🇦🍁
Welcome back, we've missed you
I buy so many panels but never know what to do with them. They're so pretty but stumped so they just sit on a shelf with my fabrics. Now I have ideas! Now I just need ideas for quilting the ones that are sceneries and not geometric in design. Oh well, at least they will be upgraded to a different shelf.

I think Quilt Woman has a lot of panel frame patterns.
That is a great idea! I believe a satisfactory outcome relies on using the same "Line" of fabric for the borders...as from the Panel, otherwise it would not look right.
Beautiful ideas. The pieced borders are fantastic! The stitch and flip method made them seem easy and are eye-catching.
That turned out beautiful
I love this! I don't have kids in school, but what an amazing gift!
I love watching your video
I've missed your shows! I love your casual humor and your talent teaching all of us who secretly or openly want to be you when we sit down to start quilting. And you make piecing look just as easy!!! This kit is on my xmas list, or my when I need a lift list! ❤
Loved the boarders! I have several panel I want to finish before Christmas but fingering out a pieced boarder is tough! This is a great idea!
As always, Angela -you rocked it!! I would love to see a quilting diagram for that panel - it looked great.
Very delicate work well done
I love your humor, you make it fun. The teacher is going to love the quilt, good work.
What a great idea making a quilt for a favorite teacher. This quilt is beautiful. I love the quilting.
Hi Angela, I am a HS teacher and I appreciate YOU! :) 💖
Love those little curly lines!! So glad ur back

What a great show! Thank you for coming back to us. You are amazing and inspiring! 💕
Loved your borders. They really stepped it up several notches.
Beautiful
Love those borders! That’s thinking outside the blocks! Now to see if I can find space to put another quilt kit in until I finish the ones I’m currently working on. ☺️
Fantastic show, again. That border is a great frame for a panel. The squaring up tip was very useful.
What an awesome quilt! Loved the video and you look so pretty. We can definitely tell you are happy and doing well. Girl, you are so inspirational! 😊

I loved the second variation. That is a beautiful quilt at the end
Thank you for the wonderful ideas! The border works great with the lines of the panel. I really enjoy watching and learning from your tutorials! Thank You!!!
Would love a tips and tricks video...like using a leader. Maybe for a Thursday live chat??
I love them all and would like to try each one!!!
You are making this look so easy. It's going to be beautiful and appreciated.
