Dan Paul I think so too, there are three downsides that I deal with though: 1) you always feel like you’re in this growing out phase 2) the maintenance is significantly higher 3) my crown isn’t as dense as it use to be and that is more evident when my hair is longer.

@@EricBandholz Do you subscribe to the beard-hair ratio? I think I saw a GQ article that mentioned about how, if having both long hair and beard, they have to be in some kind of ratio to 'look good'. Ofcourse that's all fashion speak. Although I will say from personal experience. with a thick and/or long beard, it tends to look better with the hair pulled back in a ponytail/manbun. But it all comes down to grooming and the individual I suppose.

Hey Greg, at the end of your hair journey you should dye your hair fully dark brown to see what it would look like before you cut it off. I know you temporarily put a product in it to see what it would look like, but it didn't look natural, it felt like it was just a dye. You guys should make a video where you get your hair died permanently and then cut it off in stages, showing various hairstyles in the process. Would you consider doing this Greg?

I feel much more confident in myself over all as I think I look good and even have people complimenting me regularly :) I went from always clean shaven with short hair to a fresh hair cut and a long beard, now im rocking a super short beard with nice lines and long slicked back hair :)

  • @alexanderc7213

Agree with longer hair needing to be washed less often (something I read about how shampooing often removes essential oils), and can vouch for going to bed with wet hair and waking up where it looks fine and manageable. However, the only issue I've been having is, whenever I put my hair in a ponytail, and then take it out of the ponytail, I have this obvious dent in my hair and the only recourse is to dampen it to straighten it out.
