As Eckhart describes the levels of consciousness, can you recall times in which you either slipped below or rose above awareness? When you rose above consciousness, was it through deliberate action? Did you realize that you had risen above consciousness only after the experience ended?

Ironically, I lived a life that centered on the feelings of others. Instead of expressing my feelings frankly, I thought I had to live a happy life that would require suppressing my feelings to avoid making problems. At the same time, I firmly believed that my inner anxiety or nervousness should not be revealed. I tried to think positively or forced a smile on my face, hiding my unease and pretending not to know. Some feelings discomforted me, which I knew I should not be feeling, yet whenever those feelings arose, I would deny myself and suffer. I thought this was the right way, but reality told me the contrary. I became more vulnerable. I started to use the "Intended mindfulness playlist' and got much better. It really works

@@Olivia-bs5wj hi Olivia,, my advice is to be both honest and respectful. Tell your ex how you truly feel and that you still love them ONCE and then genuinely listen to what they say in return and accept what they say no matter if it makes you happy or sad,, acceptance is the only way. When our heart is hurting we sometimes try to work out what the other person thinks and feelings and overthink ourselves into misery. Accept and respect whatever they say and tell yourself " i accept this is the truth today, it may also be the truth tomorrow but i have no idea about what tomorrow one way or the other" but i know in my heart that no matter what happens, " everything really wil be more than ok in the end, and if everything isn't ok today then today obviously can not possibly be the end". Maybe you'll get back together, maybe you won't but either way everything really will work out brilliantly for you both. Accept what is right now Trust what will be without needing to know how its going to work out ok and be very Grateful for absolutely everything ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@Olivia-bs5wj If I understand S of T's comment, they are describing the process of responding not reacting. I relate to what you are saying. At 64, I have had many such conversations, especially if it is with someone I was attached to. It seems to me that the key to not creating more conflict is to sit in presence while they talk or do whatever they do. Not judging. Just be present with them. It is something I struggle with. They judge me, it's hard to sit still, shut up & breathe..ignore the temptation to defend my "self," my ego. If I say nothing, does that imply assent/agreement? Or does it just mean I am creating space for them in my life, to be, without comment. They can "assume" whatever they want. Will I still love them? Will they still love me? Is that love? I find myself asking for acceptance these days, more than love. Before, it was understanding. Before that last series of psychotherapy exchanges. I can't call them sessions, because I write, I don't meet in person or talk to therapists. Those exchanges led me back to these videos. Tolle is popular in Israel. There is, perhaps, something spacious, magnanimous, "big," about being able to sit with someone, let them do/say/be whatever they are, say little or nothing, perhaps give them a hug at the end, or offer one, then go home. It's in a way satisfying to return alone with dignity and wholeness intact rather than "take the bait." That having been said, I have not put myself into any confrontational situations with anybody that I was attached to recently. So I have not tested this awareness, if it's new or strong enough. Tolle does say, "start with a tree, then a dog, then clerks & officials....eventually family." The only family I have is on the other side of the world, estranged for years. So the "test" would have to be with someone that I've not known for more than 2 years, I've been back in Israel since July 2020, it's not long enough to get entangled with anyone. Maybe that's a good thing? I'm not exactly a hermit, but close. Aviva in Akko

That's what I think too. Most of the highly intelligent people I've come across with aren't usually fazed by anything, but if there's one thing that can really trigger them it's people less intelligent than them. They get so mad whenever someone makes some silly mistake or an illogical or not so well thought-out choice that they wouldn't think twice before calling the person dumb or even reprimanding he/she in public. Another thing I came to notice was how heartless those people are, they're unable to express feelings, they're very unattached to people and they're always hyperfocusing on something... On one hand I understand the importance of possessing some of these traits (like being less attached, more focused, not being too affected by the environment around you and etc) but on the other hand, if being cold-hearted and rude to people really are "side-effects" of high intelligence I'd never want to be born with a high IQ.

Some people says the way i talk was powerful, and agreed by others but i dont really care about that, i care about the spiritual growth and also i really hope that everyone could become awakened spiritually too...

The ego has it's utility. Aside from providing distortions, it also provides contrast. By just becoming AWARE of ego, it's reactive control over action seizes and therefore loses it effect on perception.

Ego has a built in self destruct mechanism, yes it does, it’s almost like the work I did 20 years ago, which I only come back to now and again, triggered the slow but sure decline in my ego. Things that were important became trivial, other things took their place, like nature.

So to say, to be aware of myself and others, stay present and react out of this state of presence. Better listening than talking and to observe. Good. It s not easy, because it s easear to react of the outopilot.I sould have in mind that I embody Higher Intelligence and be attentive and slow in reacting, better respondig if it s possible slowly and wisely.

When we go back further, i mean the 19th century, the 18th century, and so on, people were more unconscious i think. More suffering. More religions, more wars, more poverty... Everything goes as it should go. Because it goes. This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius ♫♪ Thank you for you ♥

There was a very strange feature in this case, strange because of its extremely rare occurrence. This man had once been brought to the scaffold in company with several others, and had had the sentence of death by shooting passed upon him for some political crime. Twenty minutes later he had been reprieved and some other punishment substituted; but the interval between the two sentences, twenty minutes, or at least a quarter of an hour, had been passed in the certainty that within a few minutes he must die. I was very anxious to hear him speak of his impressions during that dreadful time, and I several times inquired of him as to what he thought and felt. He remembered everything with the most accurate and extraordinary distinctness, and declared that he would never forget a single iota of the experience. ‘About twenty paces from the scaffold, where he had stood to hear the sentence, were three posts, fixed in the ground, to which to fasten the criminals (of whom there were several). The first three criminals were taken to the posts, dressed in long white tunics, with white caps drawn over their faces, so that they could not see the rifles pointed at them. Then a group of soldiers took their stand opposite to each post. My friend was the eighth on the list, and therefore he would have been among the third lot to go up. A priest went about among them with a cross: and there was about five minutes of time left for him to live. ‘He said that those five minutes seemed to him to be a most interminable period, an enormous wealth of time; he seemed to be living, in these minutes, so many lives that there was no need as yet to think of that last moment, so that he made several arrangements, dividing up the time into portions-one for saying farewell to his companions, two minutes for that; then a couple more for thinking over his own life and career and all about himself; and another minute for a last look around. He remembered having divided his time like this quite well. While saying good- bye to his friends he recollected asking one of them some very usual everyday question, and being much interested in the answer. Then having bade farewell, he embarked upon those two minutes which he had allotted to looking into himself; he knew beforehand what he was going to think about. He wished to put it to himself as quickly and clearly as possible, that here was he, a living, thinking man, and that in three minutes he would be nobody; or if somebody or something, then what and where? He thought he would decide this question once for all in these last three minutes. A little way off there stood a church, and its gilded spire glittered in the sun. He remembered staring stubbornly at this spire, and at the rays of light sparkling from it. He could not tear his eyes from these rays of light; he got the idea that these rays were his new nature, and that in three minutes he would become one of them, amalgamated somehow with them. ‘The repugnance to what must ensue almost immediately, and the uncertainty, were dreadful, he said; but worst of all was the idea, ‘What should I do if I were not to die now? What if I were to return to life again? What an eternity of days, and all mine! How I should grudge and count up every minute of it, so as to waste not a single instant!’ He said that this thought weighed so upon him and became such a terrible burden upon his brain that he could not bear it, and wished they would shoot him quickly and have done with it.’³

The mind and me separation is clear in dreams. Mind works to create dreams while “we” witness or watch the dreams. But I believe we are more than the silent watcher, we chose. Calling us a mere watcher, rids us of responsibility- after all we are just the watcher. This is an incomplete description of what we are.

I think what eckhart has done has put a mental label on literally everything who is interested in him minds. He goes through the passage of life analyzing commenting on every aspect until your head is so full of his talk it makes life difficult - much more difficult than it was before. Is this man weaving a spell on those unwitting enough to eat his words. He makes you MORE self concious if anything. Hello!!!!!!!!

Matthew NOBODY can weave a spell unless you allow it. But confusion is part of the journey, you have an inner knowing that there is more to life than just what you have learned from teachers, preachers and parents. That is why you are listening to Echardt Tolle. Keep on searching, you will find somebody that resonates with you now. Try Aaron Doughty, Victor Odo or Christina Lopes. Start with their older videos, because it is a process and I did not understand everything in the beginning myself. I am still learning.

It's interesting his comments on Karma. As an amateur astrologer I feel this is true. Currently Pluto is in the end stages of Capricorn that rules the existing order, establishment. Pluto is about to finish what it started in 2008. When it moves to Aquarius which rules the collective there will be more demand for the people to have their say and more control. It stays for approximately 15 plus years. Be prepared early next year for a massive global reset.

B Q it is not easy, but the best way to deal with it NOW is by cutting yourself loose from them, mentally and physically if possible, through isolation, research and studying the narcissist, carry on listening to videos how to expand your consciousness, E Tolle and others and you WILL learn how to deal with that kind of people without negative affects. Only YOU have the power or will have the power to deal with it through higher intelligence. They will never change, only you can. Much love to you ❤

I am shocked at how "misguided" Humanity is...I always respond on Social media with grace, especially if others are acting out of unconsciousness. I consider myself...a role model online. Much to do with hearing EckHart in 1997 in the Power of Now CDs. Back for more emotional & higher intellegence. Can't wait for some of the Politicians to activate the "self destruct" function. LOL
