    Really great video! Some of our closest friends here are from a different country, and whenever we invite them over, they reply (via text) with "Thank you!" We are always like... is there more?! What does that mean? And then, eventually, we have to follow up with "Could you let us know if you're coming??" Cultural differences in communication are truly fascinating!

    Hi, Anne Marie. What a useful lesson! There's one more way to decline an invitation that comes to mind, namely "Rain check". Would you recommend using it? Could you give an example of how to use it in context?
