Heavily reccomend doing a morning walk right as you get up, and then intermittently throughout the workday. REALLY helps you reset your mental and your focus, get more done. I take time to pray as well during my walks. If you aren't into that, can just meditate (or start praying cause it works hehe).

I can absolutely confirm. Changed my post at work, I was 194 with muscle. I changed to a strict pure protein meal diet, maybe one tiny bag of doritos (160c) every other day. But I do 15,000 easily just from work + whatever outside of work. I get 24,000 easily when I do a double. I am now 180 while building a noticeable amount of muscle in three weeks.

Hardy soups fills you up a lot with the water and fiber. I loose weight very fast when I eat big filling bowls of healthy soups for lunch and dinner for a while. Closest thing to a "hack" in my personal experience. Various veggies, potatoes, carrots, meat, lentils, beans and whatnot. Very effective. Stock and spices.

I'm eating soup that I make at home with lentils and other beans, canned tomatoes, and vegetables. It's super nutritious, filling, and convenient. Make a large pot and have meals for days. Add a large salad, a good whole grain bread, cheese, apple etc. and get control over your appetite.

If we are going to drink alcohol (yes, I know booze is bad, but Im human and like it.) do recommend a specific type of drink to go for during a cut? Beer has more calories/carbs but also less ABV so it doesnt shock the metabolism as much. Hard liquor or wine have less calories/carbs and higher ABV but can hit the body harder. Does it still come down to just calories in calories out?

I’ve tried many ways, and truthfully walking 10k+ steps daily is very inefficient and takes too much time to burn those calories. I’ve found if I am in good enough shape to go on a 25 min jog every other day I can burn those calories much more efficiently.

14k steps per day is a lot. It would take the average person walking at a decent pace well over 2 hours to accomplish. Not everyone has the time to devote to that much walking. I find that a 45-60 min walk everyday is enough. That translates to about 6000-7000 steps give or take a few hundred.

14k steps is about 2 hours of walking at a moderate pace. I walk to my gym which is a 1 hour walk and about 7k steps. Then i like to add in 15-30 mins walking next to it to get around 10k. 14k is if you're really desperate in getting lean really quick and you're kind of overweight. I'd say 8k-10k is good. Tbh if you can eat a little less you don't really have to walk as much.
