I drink a lot of green tea and never feel hungry on 1880 kcal (weight in pounds x 13). When I'm at home, I drink maybe 1.5 liters before lunch (first meal) and then again 2 liters afternoon and then again maybe 1.2 liters. You will get that tea aftertaste in your mouth and you will not want to erase it by eating + you will be well hydrated. Mostly I drink Meng Ding Xi Bei Xian, Huang Shan Mao Feng, White Monkey, Green Monkey, sometimes Long Jing, Lu Xue Ya, I love Sencha, Fukamushi... and when I am outside or at work, I'm carrying two 1.5l bottles (or 1gallon jar) of coldbrew Matcha. This year I finaly get visible abs and didn't feel hungry single time. I am only hungry after cardio (running +-10km), that feels like I need to eat because I burnt like 2000kcal, which is obviously nonsense.
He ain’t wrong. My tip is zero calorie drinks

I respect you for changing your views over time when it comes to certain topics and not just trying to rip people of with secrets reinvent the wheel hacks, just stick to the basic over and over again, I started on your programs back in 2016 thinking fasting was a magigal fat bruning tool, at 120kg, went down to 65kg over 15 months doing your training. Im sitting at a comfertable 90kg now and strong, feel and look great, just sticking to the basics

Hey Greg Been doing kinobody program for about 3 years now. Love it, only thing is, is that on Sunday I like to splurge a little since it’s family day. I don’t go insanely over but I’m super consistent throughout the week. Would you recommend to do 11 x goal body weight for this situation to kind of balance out?
This is 100% on point. I’m doing exactly this, and am shedding body fat. Thanks @kinobody

I have been thinking about fasting everyday till noon. It is time to try it out.
He's right about walking especially after a meal as its shown to slow and moderate glucose spikes. One thing he left out which I feel is critical is eat more fish high in Omega 3's as it turns off many of the 77 fat storing genes we have. I lost 23 lbs last three months eating fiber with every meal, lots of fish and walking a lot like he says. It works great video will implement the fasting part!

how much omega3s as supplement do you recommend especially on cutting (while being natural)?
@chrisdonnell2575
6 ай бұрын
I just drink about 1/2 to 1 shot glass worth each morning before coffee. Smaller fish don't have much heavy metals and there's a brand in the US that tests every tuna for mercury and only sells low mercury tuna! I eat Sardines and Mackerel which has most Omegas of all fish every week and of course wild salmon. I don't eat fish every day but tend to 3 times a week. For fiber made great Cuban black bean soup which has onions and garlic in it and is also good for you. Don't worry about fish for cutting he's right WALK after meals and blood glucose won't spike and you won't store much of a cheat meal as fat. I tried this with a half pizza once/twice a week and didn't gain anything! So fish won't hurt you at all!@@ami6packs

Greg my guy
This is solid advice. I'm 5'11", I started out the year at almost 195 lbs after packing on the pounds during COVID. I looked and felt like shit and this was the highest I'd weighed probably since my teenage chubby days. I've been following these basic 3 things, plus doing strength training 3-4 days/week, and I'm currently at 162 lbs, trying to get to 158 before I start bulking in the new year. The fasting really helps because I find if I eat too early, I end up going over my calories and snacking at night because I'm hungry. The one other thing I'd add is strength training. If you do these 3 things, but don't include weight lifting, you'll end up losing weight, but instead of that weight being mostly fat, you'll lose muscle and fat and wind up skinny fat. Lol, added that last part before I watched the end of the video where he talks about strength training...

Greg when do you lift fasted or after fast?
I prefer fasted workouts. somehow I feel less sluggish in the gym. but I need to right after, whether that breaks the fast too soon or not. getting lean for me has been easy, 500 calorie deficit, morning cardio and higher reps for 3 weeks and I'm cut.

One thing I’ll add that has really helped is daily swimming. Walking and running will not build anything on your physique, but swimming will build an excellent wide frame for even better muscle development, with none of the possible joint issues.
@min11benja

Yes but swimming is expensive even if you own a pool at home, cant do that year round unless its inside, walking is free and most importantly it won’t make you get more hungry swimming will make you want to eat a cow and if you are not super careful you will end up gaining weight instead of loosing weight.

Steps Steps Steps so underrated I’ve been doing 15k for the past 3 days and I’m wrecked by the end of my work shift
I personally do about 5 to 7 hours of exercise per day that includes bodybuilding heavy weightlifting home workouts power yoga and long walks daily. how many calories could i eat per day with all that and still loose fat? i am 5'7 and 66kg with a fast metabolism and lots of muscle. i also weight train for 11 hours per week
What about lifting weights fasted ? Would that increase your appetite later on and increase cortisol to much
Chiseled 💯
do you prefer working out in the morning during your fast or at night or after a first meal?
When I’ve coached guys in the past I’ve almost never started at 10K steps because it’s rare anyone who lives somewhat sedentary starts anywhere close to that. Usually what I’ll do is have them track their steps and then increase it by about 3K. Usually ends up around a total of 7K’ish. Then? As the weight loss slows? We increase steps and they get to keep the calories high. It’s really nice, because by the time they are at something like 12-13k steps a day? They’ve already hit the goal body weight and are getting even leaner. 👌 Worth a thought.
Hi Greg, how do you feel about finasteride? Do you have anyone on your programs that you know takes it? One of the reasons I use your programs is to become attractive to women. However, it seems to be that girls in their 20s aren’t attracted to bald guys (I am in my early 20s). Is that something you would recommend or should I stay away from it? While it does affect DHT levels, it gives men a higher level of free T. P.S. this is coming from someone who does not look good bald whatsoever.
Should you hit 10k+ steps before breaking the fast or after? Awesome video, Gregs back on YT baby.

Before I even saw his video I was already doing all this stuff but he is absolutely on point with everything except I did not fast for 5 hours after waking up , instead, I pretty much fasted for maybe 2 or 3 hours but as he stated that will still work as well, as individual routines can vary. I have gone from 230 pounds at 25% body fat to about 171 pounds at 11% body fat in approximately 6 months.
@SugarGotAlongway2catchme
5 ай бұрын
Incredible .. are you doing the -400 deficit?
@whoyou2crew
5 ай бұрын
@@SugarGotAlongway2catchme I think I was roughly in a 400 Calorie deficit Thru food at 2200 Calories by the time I completed the fat loss journey and now that I'm back in maintenance I'm up to around 2700 Calories and still maintaining about 170 or 171 pounds. My cardio was probably at 1 hour per day but I wasn't really going intensely it was just more than anything walking or recumbent biking. Occasionally I would do one high intensity day for 20 minutes with 5 Sprint intervals but that's really it. That occurred maybe once every 9 or 10 days. So my food deficit put me probably 400 Calories in a deficit but then my walking expenditure at 15 or 20000 steps per day really opened up an even greater deficit. At this point I am priming myself for a lean bulking phase after about 2 or 3 months at maintenance.
