This person reminds me so much of my first manager at IBM who still mentors me from time to time. He would spend so much time managing us and yet he was able to find time for the things that he loves, that is, research. I used to look forward to his meetings, because, after every meeting, I would feel rejuvenated.

Your lucky to have and happy to hear
Best thing I have done in 2021 so far is to listen to this. I am just amazed by his thought process.
What a great speaker, one of the best speakers of TED talks. Clear, great communication skills, pleasure to hear the clear message. Thank you for telling us that listening to your employees can change the structure of our company, our business, our lives, our employees. Not just change but TRANSFORM our company/ business but how we can involve and care for the mental state of our fellow humans. Thank you
Why KZread took 3 years (Feb 2019 to Jan 2021) to suggest me this video?! It's just wonderful! 😊

Simply one of the best Ted talks ever. He's been spreading a lot of value with his KZread channel too!!
If i would have to share my meal with anyone new everyone new, everyday, I'll just be myself ! very deep thing!
I really like how he speaks, express himself, share all his failures and all the life lessons which he has learned from his past experience there are not lots of people who does this thing . He really motivate me alot . One of the best video in Ted talks.
Thank you, thank you and thank you for a third time. Ankur, we need more tech/corporate leaders like you. My eyes literally welled up towards the end. A new perspective indeed.
This is such an underrated talk. Thank you for the new perspective.

Highly recommended. Plz plz watch. Best of the best.
This was a something very impactful on me.. Moved me. More power to you Ankur. I agree an attitude of gratitude is what makes a person. ❤
Only reason why people dont open up is the tried & tested habit of people to convert it into commodity for gossip, entertainment & blackmail even by their bosses.
Just casually came here and it broke me down...it s so humbling....
One of the best TEDx talks I have heard in a real long time Ankur. Your words are powerful so are your thoughts.
Leadership. The most misunderstood, underutilized and underrated skill in business.
This is indeed one of the best Ted Talks i have listened.
Ankur This is one of the best TED talks and I really appreciate you guiding us almost every day through your content.
Soo far this was the only ted talk that got my all attention literally I just feel like keep watching ever after watching ... I wonder what took me soo long to come across this mind blowing speech. Worth watching 🔥
I am a subscriber of Mr. Warikoo's channel. But just now, had the chance to watch this video. I wish I could get to see this much earlier.

Are you referring to the part where he says how we think about ourselves ? Do you think by constant effort, we can stop behaving like what we expect others to think about us and live and think freely ?
I am not who I think I am, I am not who you think I am, I am what I think you think I am.

Amazing and thought provoking idea. So often we forget the person behind the professional we interact with and ironically thats what matters the most, the person behind the professional. Great video Ankur !

Warikoo is an asset.
Amazing, no words!!
A very inspiring talk . Best part was - people don’t want to have your advice and suggestion. First they want someone who can listen 👂 to them !! Art of listening is bigger than art of speaking because a good listener is able to build human connections which is very important for success in any field.
Absolutely thought provoking! Love Your Videos Mr. Warikoo 👍
Humility, kindness and gratefulness are indeed the greatest virtues of humankind. These virtues do not cost you a penny but possessing and practicing them make you 100X richer than the millionaire whose only riches is his bank balance. Well Warikoo, do you also have lunch with someone who isn't working 'with' you?
Thoughtful thought-provoking, beautiful talk
How wonderful!!!
What a wonderful talk. I took an important learning. Thanks !
Great talk Ankur bhai..!
I love TED you have been great so much fun.
Ankur what a talk. Deeply resonated with me. You spoke of why our people don’t open up easily to authority is 💯 true. Malcol gladwell tells a story in his book “tipping point” when Korean Air planes were regularly crashing and what they thought in the end was the reason: cultural. If the CO pilot did not show enough respect to the captain or maybe correct a decision, he could be slapped! Read the book to know how they solved the solution. I live in Karachi and we aren’t any different from you. People here are ready to for instance pay bribe even before someone asks for it, pre thinking. Like the quote at the end of your talk. Thankyou. You seem to be all heart and really enjoyed the talk.
He's shaking INSTA now❤️
Wow, amazed!

10:39 is the moment that everyone should pay attention
Great perspective. If i would have to share meal with someone new every day.. i would probably meet less privileged ones... to feel what struggle they are going through, feel more grateful for what i have and probably sponsor the meal as well for someone for a day. Just imagine if every privileged person sponsors one meal each day to someone underprivileged! There's tremendous amount of learning outside corporate jobs and startups. Just need to throw away the facades we carry.
Amazing Tedx Talk
Great Talk ,Inspiring !
I am totally motivated 🔥🔥🔥
Crazy talk on this hatsoff
Very good advice and positive sprite, this mind set people should be work in office not politics, lot of learning opportunity for everyone open mind, clean mind that's the sprite.keep it up sir.
Hey Ankoor.. Very touching approach 👏 👍 👌
This is amazing
Hi ! Ankur.. This is really great if leadership start treating employee as human. If they really start loving and understanding emotions. If they genuinely think about the people and their emotional requirements. But here race is to explore more and more from.employee .I wish what you spoke off may really happen. I try to practice this empathy, nurture and emotional connect but no meter to measure this. As meter which I have been given by my office is KPI/ nos/ MIS . As monthly performance only value the MIS.
Thank you
I feel so good listening to u ...
Great one.
I do share my meal with almost everyone in the team; now have to work on starting a teach company.
Oh wow! I wish to work with you someday, Ankur.
hello! Ankur, I wanted to say that I have seen many versatile videos on business, motivation, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and also watched and follow your Videos But really I should admit that your speech makes me feels like you really understand peoples feelings. I am saying this because not only for this particular video, there is one a very short video regarding Mental Health, hare I want to mention Full headline of the Video "3 steps to better MENTAL HEALTH shorts" so I watched that because I was a bit upset or stress on about someone's mood and after few times later when I am not feeling well for that I suddenly search on You tube "how I should feel when someone get pissed off from me by Ankur Varikoo, and I got that video, so after that I thought about my problem and easily I got the point when you said about the 2nd one that when the problems which are NOT on your control "Just STRIKE IT OUT" and I pause the video and thought seriously I shouldn't be feel stressed and I really feel relaxed again by admitting that seriously I can't control anyone's mood and I am back to my track. 🙂🙂
Couldn't resist a roast, pls do take it sportingly. BTW just loved the talk especially the end and also the lunch with your superiors is just such an original and underrated idea. "I don't talk while eating"
The fantastic speech.... Awesome
