He was biased to the stage I was considering informing YT not to recommend me his videos. This GSW team was in fact built greatly and you could see this in regular season but noone can guarantee you a championship, even if you have Durant, Thompson and Curry in 1 team. Injury happen in a blink of an eye and can screw all plans. If Dubs didn't win he wouldn't be some confident to brag about his earlier predictions. Especially he saw an increasing role of Kuminga in the Playoffs and that kid was no factor. Moody gave some good minutes but also wasn't a gamechanger. Development of Poole in offence compensated what Klay lost (and he is still not even 90% of himself) and Wiggs was basically a Durant when they needed length and solo offensive production. His hustle wasn't something anyone could predict as it was his Achilles heel for most of his career.

Your videos nailed it all season... Even as a long time Warriors fan, I had my doubts after Game 3, but loved when you put out the video that said "the Warriors are right where they want to be", because that really is who they are. They play best in adversity, a true championship team. I think the story of this finals was purely defensive adjustments, so credit to Draymond Green, Wiggins, GP2, Kerr, and all the players that adjusted to heavier perimeter focus. The Warriors scored about the same number of points each game in the finals, the losses happened when they let Boston out score them. Regardless, amazing achievement for the Warriors, and thanks for all the great content this season! You are my new fav youtube video analyst along with JxmyHighroller!

Dear Hoop Reports, Thanks for constantly pumping out this positive Warriors content in the past few years. In 2020 and even 2021 not making it to the playoffs in those dog days, we only had Covid and a small dream of a warriors future where Steph leads a Warriors roster with a healthy Klay thompson to victory once again. Thank you for being that channel that always updated us and gave us something good to look forward to. You totally called it, even when people (even myself at times) had doubts about the future of the franchise. Now, it looks brighter than ever and I hope your wonderful content keeps going!

I watched 70+ warriors regular season games this season by december 25th 2021 I was convinced they were going to win it all. The warriors were balling! Their great offense, and underrated defense and REBOUNDING, given they had no size, was unbelievable. I repeatedly asked myself how are they out rebounding teams with a 6-6 center line up. The warriors basketball IQ is probably one of the greatest if not the greatest of all time. Someone once told me if you make your opponent play your game and get them out of theirs you are winning. And that is what the warriors did. They forced everyone to play small. I remember so many pre game analysis that questioned the warriors size and physicality while at the same time praising opponent's size physicality and defense and when the game played out they have to play into the warriors hands by going small to be able to keep up with their offense. Meanwhile the NBA world was fast asleep about this. I won't deny that doubt creeped in during steph's slump after breaking the 3 point record but the fact is that a newly added klay and injury ridden draymond affected their chemistry for a bit which in term affected their regular season record. However the warriors coaching staff is one of the best all time they maximized every setback. Poole got to play shooting guard and point guard, wiggins played a two way role that earn him his first all star as a STARTER BTW. Everyone criticized the allstar game voting system for that. Because people dont watch the games and are quit to give their opinions based on knowledge from 5 years ago. The reality is I learned that most of the nba universe do not watch games and do not know basketball. Yes steph, klay and dray are going to be a year older but the growth of poole and wiggins and the addition of wiseman are going to more than make up for the big 3s aging. The warriors got themselves an improved prime pippen in wiggins and the next steph curry in poole. god willing, the warriors will repeat as long as they stay healthy like you said.

Otto Porter Jr. contributed also with those 2 big 3's in the 3rd (his only points) along with those 2 3's by Curry. Had Horford not made those 3's of his own, the Warriors could've been up by 28+ 😁

I didn't start watching the Celtics until the Milwaukee series, and after watching the Miami series, I kept wondering what everyone saw in the Celtics. Size, yes. But they looked slow. I realize that on TV, speed can be deceptive, so I thought maybe I could have been wrong, but once the series started, it only confirmed my belief that the only way the Celtics could win is if the Warriors threw the ball away a lot and if the Celtics shot lights out. Admittedly, both can happen on occasion. But there were times when the Celtics were absolute chuckers, clanking shot after shot, and it was mostly the one-dimensionality of Milwaukee (how many times can Giannis drive from outside the arc?) and the similar clankiness of Miami that enabled Boston to beat those teams. The Warriors don't have those problems. Someone always has a hot hand. They can score from inside, outside and midrange, which is kind of a lost art these days. The Celtics played right into the Warriors hands -- literally. The Celtics are not good ball-handlers, and do not have an interior passing game. Their players drive to the basket and shoot the ball themselves. Most of the time, they drive, then gather themselves to jump and shoot. This gave the Warriors all kinds of opportunities to swat the ball away--either on the dribble, during the preparation, or as they're bringing the ball up to shoot. Being shorter actually helps in this situation. I'm 5'6" and have played against 6'6" guys before and jeez, the ball is right there in front of you. Tatum especially has the bad habit of bringing the ball low on his drives, like he's trying to do the Chris Paul rip through. Strange for a near 7-footer. The Warriors use a lot of interior passing -- bounce passes, handoffs, even lobs. They know how to cut to the basket, and passers know to hit them in stride so they can go up immediately, before a defender can react. (Although I was very impressed with Williams. The man is quick on his feet). Those bounce passes to Wiggins were things of beauty, but you could see how carefully they were executed. And if the Warriors are scoring from inside, you know they're gonna be scoring from the outside. Game over. The other thing is, big guys get tired. Donkic, Jokic, Tatum, all were much less effective late in games. The Warriors' strength in numbers approach tired those guys out. People make a big deal about Steph's age. But even with his age, and all the playoff games, he's spent less time playing in games than you might expect. He's sat out a lot of fourth quarters because they were blowouts. They have a regular rotation that restricts his minutes, and rarely, if ever, do they deviate from it solely to win a single game. They learned from their ill-fated 73-win season how dangerous that is. He's a young 34. I'd expect him to be extremely effective for at least two more seasons. Poole and Moody will get more time, which will extend his career, so he'll be fine with it.
