Warriors had two guys capable of dropping 25+ points and also klay who has the most threes in a single game and dropped 60 points in 3 quarters as their third option. Pippen was a good scorer but not a great one he was usually going to give you 17-24 points a game so the warriors would really have to worry about one guy giving them 30 in Michael Jordan. Steph curry and Kd both are arguably the greatest offensive weapons ever with klay as their third option in my opinion they were the best offensive team ever and had great defense in draymond, iguodala, klay, Livingston, and Kd. @Luiz Delgado Homes. Jordan and the Bulls played tenacious defense. Lebron and the Cavs were lazy on defense. Jordan scoring or averaging 35 or 40 would come at 48% shooting in 96-98. From 91- 93 Jordan would shoot 50 plus% in the finals. He is not going to shoot 39% as Lebron did in the 2015 finals while averaging 35. Jordan and the Bulls would not have as many turnovers as Lebron and the Cavs. The Bulls would also not get into a three point contest with Golden State as the Cavs did despite having exceptional ability to shoot the three. Jordan, Pippen, Kukoc, Kerr and Judd B. could all shoot the three effectively. The Bulls would shoot just enough to keep GS honest on the perimeter in order to take advantage of their superior athleticism on the perimeter. Jordan, Pippen and Harper could either shoot over Curry or blow by Klay, Draymond and KD for the And 1 which is a forgotten 3 pt play in today's game. Jordan was better and smarter than Lebron. Bulls in 6.

I both a fan of both teams and seen both in their primes, the difference is that the warriors are streaky in how they play, when disrupted, they don't generate 1v1 shots often, they rely on ball-movement (minus KD) The mid-range is a lost art and when the warriors are desperate, they don't try to generate easy shots but still continue to chuck 3s (it baffles me today). I'm sure many will disagree and that's the best thing about the greatest debate in sport, there actually is no right answer because separate eras are very different with so many variables and issues, plus as far as I know time machines still haven't been invented. Thanks for the video and please keep up the amazing work.

My two cents, I've watched Steph get totally smothered in finals games, nobody ever came remotely close to doing that to MJ. MJ could guard anyone on that team, Steph isn't guarding anyone. Rodman at 6'6" could hold Shaq to zero, there is no one he ever played against he couldn't terrorize. He would most likely get matched up with KD. Rodman would likely be KDs worst nightmare he's ever seen on defense, that's even accounting for how badly KD ate up Bron. Rodman would make Dray quit basketball forever. Harper could hang with Klay on defense, Scottie on Klay would be disrespectful more often than not. Scottie terrorized Magic 94 ft in the finals so matching up with Steph is entirely plausible. I see a ton of forced turnovers and easy buckets for Chi and a lot of movement and spacing for GS. That's four all NBA defenders on one side of the ball, 3 possibly being the all time best, with the greatest bucket getter in that mix. And the three greatest shooters on the other side. Historically though the better defense usually ends up winning.

Smothered? You mean box and 1? Teams never let Steph have 1v1 iso what have you been watching since the 2019 Finals!? Steph's handles >>> Magic's handles. Pippen, MJ and Harper aren't gonna be able to chase Steph or Klay around for 7 games, because they can't and whoever has to guard KD, that's 🍗 chicken dude. MJ on Klay. Klay's defense isn't trash and he has a 6'11 wingspan to guard MJ and slow him down. Plus Klay's moving on offense a lot, so those breaks that MJ took guarding Russell from the Jazz ain't happening rs! MJ will be forced to defend. Harper can't checking Curry. Steph has way too many options. He can run the pick n roll which he can be the roll guy who sets the pick which creates a mismatch!! He has off ball movement so really he doesn't need the ball in his hands plus he never stops moving! He can pull up from 30 IF you're not up close or use his quick release. But if you do play up tight on him, um his handles are top 5 in NBA history so he's breaking ankles lol, and once he gets passed his initial defenders it becomes a 5 on 4 with snipers like Klay or KD wide open 🤦🏾 or Steph could finish it. KD has a mismatch verses the entire Bulls starting 5 smdh. Grant? Rodman? Pip? Harper? MJ? Stop the blind bs bias and be real dude rt. They ain't never guarded a 7'0 who can shoot 40% from deep, who can shoot the mid range as good as MJ as well on top of being able to post up on either side!! He is called slim reaper for a reason! He can dribble like a guard with elite handles. Man KDs going to work. Livingston punishes Armstrong man, cause he's too small. I can go on and on!! GS offense, with their ball movement, and motion play style combined with the ability to switch, and play defense is elite. Iggy come off the bench to defend and run point rs. GS in 2017 had 100 rounds drums for everyone no 🧢.

@@TheAussieaustin with that logic, shouldn't bulls be able to get that knowledge to be on the same Plainfield? Cus bulls fans can always say that you can't pull up for 3s if every defenders are able to hand check you by half court and play physical without zone. And let's say non of that physical play is allow, wouldn't that inflat bulls' offensive rating? Since they are able to score easier. And knowing jordan, would you be able to stop him within 50 points? Cus essentially anyone that you put on him will be a miss match, hence jordan himself is creating opportunities essentially for everyone on the court. Yes you can use the argument of switching kd onto harper, but both jordan or pipen can switch onto your most valuable player offensively, which is steph. If Steph gets exhausted on the defensive end, would he be as effective on the offensive end? It is proven on 2016 playoffs that cavs exposed the fucked out of steph, by constantly switching him onto kyrie and lebron. So fk your argument, and fk your fan boying.

KD would be useless in paint protection, leaving Pip to handle distribution pretty freely (or score). Klay cannot keep up with MJ at all, so Jordan would attack the rim however he wants. The bulls would overwhelm the W’s with volume scoring and boards… boards… boards. Shooting 3s leads to a lower shooting %. Rodman would dominate the def rebounds and keep the Bulls offense fueled.

Bulls will have a walk in the park day vs GSW, no one can play defense vs Ron, Tony and Luc - not even gonna need M.J. and Pipps until halftime (and Bulls did this a lot vs such weak teams). In offense KD would score some and Curry will be crushed - hand checked and handled like all small guards were back in the day - best he can hope for is being a lesser A.I. If they play no defense basketball - MJ and Pipps will score 50 each and still win - it's like having a better leBum and a better KD, there will be no stopping those two but this will be a much fair game. Great video. I love GSW and probably they're my favorite team outside of the Bucks. But the video did not consider some intangibles like mental fortitude, something that GSW showed that they shrank with the 3-1 collapse versus the Cavs and KD not also having mental fortitude (something that has hounded him through out his career, even until now). Draymond will likely get himself ejected and suspended in a 7 game series with Rodman playing with his head. The Bulls are mentality fixed and proof is being focused enough to result to 3peat which is very very difficult. It is likely that the Bulls will do pressure defense from the inbound and actually force Klay to be the ball handler. KD also isn't unstoppable (if he was he should average 40-50 in today's defense), catch is he isn't being guarded by any normal player but one of the best in NBA history. and I wouldn't be surprised that he'll also be frustrated with the defensive pressure placed on him all the time. On the other hand there is no one in GSW who can stop MJ that's why many NBA greats and former players say that MJ will average 40-50. The Bulls will likely win in 6.

MJ used to get cooked by AI back in the day, and AI himself said that Steph is a way better ball handler than him. Steph would cook MJ all day and twice on Sundays lol. That alone gives the Dubs the advantage lol. The only person I’ve seen block KD’s fade away is the Greek freak but if KD had to play defense against MJ I believe his length would definitely be an issue for MJ. Let’s not forget that KD was a super underrated defender that woke up when he came to the Dubs. I think he’d give MJ problems on the defensive end.

Rodman would be absolutely flabbergasted seeing Draymond shoot 3s though. Also Rodman can't guard both. KD requires 110% of your attention and when that happens, Draymond is an open look. Same with literally every other player. The Bulls have better defense than the Warriors, but that doesn't matter when that Warriors offense is so overwhelming that it is like playing a game against a guy who can see the future. Its unfair.

Are we just time traveling the Bulls to today without changing how they run their offense or defense? I think it'd be tough for them to defend the Warriors, since offenses have just become so, so much better and they'd run sets the Bulls hadn't even dreamed of. Not only that, but the Bulls would think zone defense is illegal. On the other hand, the Warriors would run a modern team defense with zone concepts and switching, which would basically ruin everything the Bulls tried to do. I think it's possible that the individual greatness of MJ could still bring the Bulls over the top in this scenario, but I'd have to think 20 years of offensive and defensive advancement favor the Warriors

Defense seem to be so good back in the day because they wouldn't have to worry about a guy pulling a deep three. They just have to lock down the perimeter. I'm a big Jordan fan but I think the Warriors' ball movement is just too much for the Bulls. Sure, it will be close because they got arguably the best defense in all positions in NBA history but Warriora defenae is no slack either AND they are used to the ball being on the perimeter all the time, corner threes are pretty much not yet born. Three is just better than twos Lastly, the Bulls will just throw the ball to 23 and we all know that in today's game, iso plays are so easy to guard with two elite players, one on the man himself and the other waiting for a chance to block. Klay is a good man to man defender and Dray is a good last line of defense. The Bulls game will be slower and is more tactical. The Warriors on the other hand is the definition of run and gun. MJ is the greatest of all time but as we all know in the 2019 season, only injuries can beat that damn team.

Well, first of all, the 97 bulls are all like 50 and 60 years old 😆 Jokes aside: The Bulls have never seen a team like the Warriors. The Warriors have an incredible amount of tape on the Bulls. The Bulls never had to defend 40 three-point attempts or seen a team that gets 30 assists. They also had slow-footed centers that would get killed in the pick and roll. Finally, players today are bigger faster and stronger than ever and the Warriors bench was much, much more deep.

yeah I wouldn't stop moving either, if tons of moving screens are being set for me. When you can't shake someone more athletic than you, then we see who never stops moving. I say this because doing that to other men was my main focus growing up playing basketball...I guarded my man to the water fountain, in effort to make him quit (i.e., take him out of the game because he thought I was crazy). I never had a guy not be deterred by my overzealous focus on them. But the moving screens would have made ME want to quit. This is their secret sauce.

The wide open floor with slip and sliders like Curry would be too much for the Bulls. When the Dubs play it's like they have an invisible sixth man option on the court because it's not five one-on-one matchups due to the Dubs movement without the ball. If a string tracked Curry's moves, it would be the most tangled ball of string in the world. Think of it this way - how in the hell would the Bull prepare for the Dubs in practice. They didn't have anyone on the second team who could mimic them except for maybe Steve Kerr. Then the Dubs would mix it up with each successive game. The Bulls would end up being a day late and a dollar short for each game. Dubs in six, maybe five. The Bulls' wins would come from MJ imposing his will once or twice. Draymond and Rodman would be non factors as they literally would kill each other by the fourth quarter of game one.

I think the only player who is all but guaranteed to get in the 2017 Warriors team is Jordan. And GS aren't exactly light in that position. Klay is integral to the way they play and one of the best SG of his generation. So for me the Warriors have the better team. Plus lets be honest. If you pulled the 96 Bulls into 2017 with no knowledge of who GS were they would not expect three guys, one being seven feet tall, all hanging out at the three point line scoring at will. Even guys who knew it was coming couldn't handle it.
