I liked the video and the editing. It was very much information with accurate graphical support in a very short time.
0:24 lmao that autofocus
This is a really good video! And it shows how the hyperlink is actually a very recent way of navigating information.
This one is one of the best. I love what TED is doing with this series. I guess we don't need every talk to be in front of an audience. Just talk, can be great also.
What helps me out a lot is being able to just highlight a word, and quickly google it. How long has that feature been around?
The hyperlink made study hours in school so much more fun. We played the Wikipedia game all the time because we had nothing to study or work on and didn't want to get assigned extra work so it looked like we where researching but we where just playing around..

2:45 I still have a an old mac with HyperLink (even the white box with the HyperLink programme and booklet).
I am enjoying this new series tremendously - its quick, informative and entertaining. Thank You. I am looking forward to learning more with TED.

Nice ...can i have your number/username?
Why did you choose to highlight Ted Nelson rather than Douglas Engelbart? Doug’s demo shows working hyperlinks in 1968 - see an example at 5:00 in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqSoxZifY6fHn9I.html. That demo also uses text itself as a hyperlink marker (though there was no underline to distinguish it from non-hyperlinked text).
Excellent story telling.
Wow! Very good presentation!
The editing is so good
The Memex!
In college I learned to cite works. Now that I have my own website, I use hyperlinks.
Memex. Memes. Capture people's Imagination.
3:12 the compression lmao
Nice video!
0:32 "The computer has alot of code but the interface is what humans interact with" Me a programmer who interacts with both: I'm only half human...
This is real life command block
I love to watch this kind of videos to learn English, anyone knows another playlist/youtuber with similar content?
3:23 Yup I love Grumblr ^-^ (and love those copyright issues that haunt your every move)
As a developer I really, really hate when people speak of HTML as "code". That's like saying a video, song, or even book is code.

@@samuvisser But HTML is on it's own (like ot. was in the early days) not turing complete. So I wouldn't really call it a programming language
Love that
its the only best editing video that i hv seen in my life ...in terms of info and graphics
you could have a game here ..just going round in circles haha
The hyperlink is not the Lego block, it's the nipples on top of each Lego block. You actually only care about the block, but it's the nipples that link and hold them together.

Musk just offloaded his rusty pipe for millions - idiot Branson who bought it should be speaking :-D
2:50 Tim didn't need any inspiration to 'invent the world wide web' - you can tell because he didn't use any.
Wow.. Vannevar Bush looks exactly like Jacob Rees Mogg, maybe that explains why Rees Mogg sounds like he just stepped out of a time loop from the 50s.
easy with the editing of these videos... in some passages I almost had a seizure. Are you trying to remake a Michael Bay movie?

Its already happening.... V2K is real. Look into it... AI is beyond what we can see. Some things are presented to the public at least 10 years after it has been perfected. Every second, minute, hour, day, month, and year technology is being advanced. There are so many new things that those who arent into technology will not be able to grasp. On youtube, there are channels that share and explain alot of the new technology as well as the advancement of old technology. Look into. You will be amazed, shocked, puzzled, etc in what you will see.... Be blessed and have a great day!!!

The fact that there are people in the comments that don't know she was referring to the democratic political system and not the US political party. 🤦♂️

Forget the editing, don't leave your camera on autofocus if you're going to be bobbing your head around. So actually, the editing needs to try harder.

To be fair, the internet is an incredibly liberal concept. It would be better described as communist than democratic. It's openly free access to information from everywhere, and by definition, this liberty of information is liberal. A conservative "internet", like what's found in North Korea, would suck.
