🔹 Mandi shares her simple recipe for clear skin in Pt.2 here: • Delicious Dairy-Free R...
We all want clear, radiant and youthful skin right? ✨ What if we told you it wasn't about skincare products or creating the perfect skincare routine? What if we told you everything you need to clear your skin was already inside you? Meet your long lost friend the gut microbiome 😉 In fact, it's not just one friend, we each have billions of friends! Today we learn all about the skin and gut axis, what and how the relationship forms and what we do to break down this precious relationship. We explore everything from how the foods we eat, sleep we get and what stress and anxiety can do to throw all these bacteria, fungi and microscopic organisms living inside of us off, that show up on our skin as skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis and more!
Ro shares her past experiences of poor eating habits/dieting and how that greatly affected her moods and body fluctuations and Fel revisits a jolly time where she challenged herself to a food challenge and wound up bedridden 💀
You'll want to watch till the very end because this is probable the more important themes of learning about our own skin, body and mind!

Yes, more videos with Mandi, she is awesome 🤩🙏❤️
Mandi’s skin is literally GLOWING. She’s so knowledgeable and pretty, loved her as a guest. Great episode, ladies 🌸❤️
As a doctor, I've always been so fascinated with how processed foods affect the gut. Very interesting to hear your take on this. You gals are amazing! ❤️
*mandi's skin is GLOWINGGGGG*
I cut out all processed foods and my fight with acne was won within a month. It’s crazy. The sodium and sugar I was eating was nuts

Do you haven any tips for cutting sugar/sodium from your diet? Because i can't seem to ever successfully do that.

@@Fae_van Replace it with sweet and healthy substitutes, you can find a lot in a local health store like Holland and Barrett's. Maybe once a week treat yourself to a sugary snack, so you dont feel the need to give up and indulge on a lot at once 😎👉👉

@@Fae_van Just wanted to give you some examples of healthier sugar to start with. Raw honey, maple syrup, dates and other unsweetened dried berries. The refined sugar that we're used to consume goes into your bloodstream very fast and after that sugar high wears off, it'll leave you very tired and craving for more sugar. When you take healthier sugar, I find the dependency in sugar decreases over time. I put some honey in my morning lemon water, only one or two dried dates in my oatmeal, and I'll eat one or 2 portions of fruits during the day. That's about it for sugar. That plus cutting down the carbs really helped getting rid of the craving for sugar.
They match their chairs!! 😂😍
Totally agree. Got rid of 90% of my eczema after stopping topical steroids and changing my diet

This video wasn't long enough! I'm so happy to hear in the end that there'll be another video with Mandi. I really love her energy. Down to earth, fun, laid back and really knows what she's talking about. Being born in China, where the Western medicine and the traditional Chinese medicine coexist, I'm very happy to see that more and more people in the Western science and medicine world starting to see the evidence that sometimes the issues on one body part is a reflection of the health of other body parts. It makes people start to understand that the body functions as a whole and sometimes we can't just treat the symptoms without treating and understanding the underlying cause
Ahh! I love the fact that you’re sharing so much information on our bodies, it’s so important to understand these things for proper care of ourselves, thank you! 💖
Please have Mandi on the show more often! Love the information and tips shared in this video. ❤️
Felicia dear, do you ever age?!
One of the most enlightening and fun episodes so far ❤️
This girl is AMAZING and so knowledgeable, but for those of you who are Celiac or Gluten free do to necessity: quinoa, buckwheat, oats, amaranth and brown rice are great for those who need to be gluten free. The gluten free aisle in more grocery stores now have great options if you don’t bake. Quinoa not only is a grain but also a great source of protein.
I love you guys and the guest was a perfect choice! All 3 are physical proof that what they are preaching is true and not marketing!
Waiting for the next ep. Also Mandi is so cute and smart 🥰
Glad someone is talking about gut n skin. It’s so important n neglected
I Respect how these beautiful women take time out of their day or their life to inform us about how to take care of our skin and teach us right and wrong.Very inspired here.I love you guys been a fan forever ❤️
OMG THIS VIDEO DROPPED AT SUCH A GOOD TIME. My digestion is never really all that good but these days its been ABSOLUTELY *TERRIBLE.* And i suffer from acne. So this video is a great help T_T ❤
She was such a great guest!! Bring her back more! Loved this episode!
When you guys say "microbiome" you're actually talking about the MICROBIOTA. The microbiota are the microorganisms and the microbiome is the microbiota's genome (set of genes) :) Love this topic! Your videos just get better and better! Love from Mexico
I loved that you guys made a video about this. My dad has been in my ears for years telling me about my guts impact on my skin AND my mental health. I wish this interview was longer!!!!
Love the topic, love the guest, love the hosts and love this channel! Thank you so much for a very enlightening episode and looking forward for your next 🖤🖤🖤
Absolutely love this video !! Just what I needed...perfect timing! Mandi should consider releasing an audible version of her book ..she breaks things down in such an easy way - would surely get it!
I’m excited ! I absolutely LOVE watching your videos! 😍
Oh my god you are all dressed so beautifully and look so gorgeous!
I really appreciate the editing! It's so good, it makes it more interesting to watch.
ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE EPISODE BY FAR. So cool to see you all vibing and sharing knowledge. This was so good! Y'all are radiant together. Mandi -- thank you for the book! Truly truly -- thank you.
honestly, this was the best episode yet
Waiting for the next episode ! This was awesome thx🙏🏽 very educational
Cant wait! Love you girls and all the advice :)))
it's so crazy how everyone reacts to junk food so differently. I know people who eat processed food all the time and don't have acne AT ALL but have gluten intolerance, don't have acne but have psoriasis and/or eczema, have cystic acne but thin body frames. For me as I get older, I get more sensitive and more likely to get forehead acne and rosacea. I used to not get why old people cant eat too much spicy food or fried food or sweet things but now I understand I do because I am one of the old people now! Or how working out is a necessity to be strong for everyday life, not just a "nice to have."
Absolutely love this topic! Thank you👍🏼
This was so fascinating!! Mandi is extremely beautiful & intelligent. You can tell she’s passionate about what she does, literally wish she was my dermatologist. One of my favorite videos by Beauty Within!
Can we all admire how extra beautiful Mandi's eye makeup is? I can't stop watching I need that eyeshadow ❤️
Fantastic video! Thank you so much Mandi - so so helpful and motivating. I agree - you're glowing.
According to chinese medicine, the gut health is related to the condition of skin. So it is no longer just a myth it is actually supported by scientific research:)
MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR HELPING THE NEEDY(giving out real skincare tips in and out)🙏✌
omg Mandi is my favorite guest so far! So funny, the best energy and SO SMART
Thank you for this information! I suffer from a bad cystic acne plus skin asthma. I learn it is due to my hormones and as well as my guts--I was even hospitalized for this. Really thank you for this! 😊
Oh my Goddddd I love her! I hope she really does come over again on other videos 🤩
I've been WAITING for a video like this! I was sick back in December for weeks and eventually had to resort to antibiotics. I knew my skin would suffer but not that bad (at least that's what I hoped) buuuuut my worst nightmare happened. Ever since then I've been trying to get my skin back to normal; my skin has had a lot of flare ups, tiny little bumps, and white heads everywhere. It's the worst acne I've had since I was a teenager. Relating back to your video, I've been looking beyond skincare and looking into the foods I eat along side with adding supplements/vitamins like pre/probiotics. I'm truly grateful for this video, you have no idea! Best video I've seen in 2020 so far, thanks for sharing :)
Damn the complexion of these 3 are perfect! Skin goals
They’re all so pretty!
This is the only channel that has really changed my health mindfulness!

I've just bought this book, excited to read it and I'm getting ayurvedic medicine for my gut too, excited 🤓
I loved this. so informative and non misleading and just lets a person feel a bit more relaxed with all the social constructs and ideas of what's healthy and what's not.
This is such an informative and happy episode love it !! 💖
This video was amazing, I truly think that lyfestyle is too important for us, not only for the skin, but this is an organ that shows us our overall health status. I also recalled one of your older videos about eating the food according to the seasons ✨
This girl skin glows with its own light😍😍😍
Mindi has so much great, easily digested :), information. Love all the ladies!
Seriously loved this video!!
I love this! This is such a good episode, I love that you guys are incorporating internal ways to help with acne too
This is by far my favorite episode!! 💗💗

Hi guys! What an amazing video, I LOVE learning about gut health and what it can do for my body. Can you guys touch on how gluten can cause inflammation and its claims on causing a leaky gut?

Me eating a whole pint of icecream watching this 👀
They both are ever green girls. Angels from the sky
This girl needs its own channel! 😍
Whoa. I think this video pretty much changed my life!
this was a great episode! Loved Mandi
Love the info! Can you guys make a video on harmful ingredients in skin care! There are so many toxic chemicals we aren’t aware of that we blindly apply to our skin!!!
I love that you all covered this. All the products are just the icing on the cake of skincare. Food has had the biggest impact for me - more than any product. For any ladies who are wondering if you need to work on your gut - if you get chronic UTIs, yeast infections, or BV AND you have acne, you probably need to work on the gut. These are bright red flags and are directly tied to your body's microbiome. Once I started focusing on my gut all these things dissapeared for me!!
Wow finally that what i am waiting for Cant wait to start changing my diet
So informative! Love it!
Just ordered the book Can not wait
This was so interesting and informative, you're really knowledgeable and smart! Thank you!!
Love!! ❤❤❤
