I just want to say I really appreciate guys like you, Tony Darden, Derrick Robinson, Alvin Green and of course coach Pete helping out every summer at those camps, it meant alot. They were definitely the highlight of my summers at that age. You guys were part of what inspired me to be a coach. Thanks man.

I used to live close to their stadium. Very beautiful stadium

Coastal Carolina produced some great NFL players. Including Cornerback Josh Norman who is still in the league to this day in Buffalo...his stint with the panthers was legendary where he made a pro bowl and 1st team all pro during Carolinas 2015 super bowl run. Cam was NFL MVP Superman and Norman was Batman...still one of the greatest seasons ever by a corner...made a fool of Odell Beckham in front of the whole country then secured a massive bag over 4-5 seasons in Washington. Before him there was Fullback Mike Tolbert...played for the Chargers, Panthers & Bills but became a true household name in Carolina where he was the dancing bear/human bowling ball w/ running back speed. He made 3 Pro Bowls & 2 All Pro teams as well. He was def a fan favorite in the Carolinas. The Chants have also had two Offensive lineman play in the NFL, both undrafted but each made a roster and played 3 seasons each in the League. Quarterback & Coastal Carolina legend Tyler Thigpen was drafted in the 7th round of the 2007 draft and played 7 seasons in the league for the Chiefs, Dolphins, Bills & Browns. He had a handful of career starts and played pretty well, but was mostly a solid reliable backup throughout his career. Jerome Simpson was a legendary WR at Coastal and was drafted in the 2nd Round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played 8 seasons for the Bengals, Vikings & 49ers. He is most known for a couple highly productive seasons In Cincinnati where his perfectly landed front flip over a cornerback into the end zone for a TD is still one of the best NFL highlights out there. Long story short...Coastal has produced several talented NFL players...even back before they were as well known with recruits as they are now. Very underrated program that is finally starting to get the national attention they have deserved for years. Ranked 15th in the nation and 8-0 baby!! Let’s keep it up!!

If Coastal Carolina can beat App State and Liberty, then they will get a New Years 6 Bowl game. Both of these teams are two of the best Group of 5 teams in the country, so if they can win, then they deserve a big time bowl game.

Coastal is good, however they have a longgg way to go if they want to beat the Big Dogs like Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and Notre Dame

I’m excited to see what happens when they play liberty it’ll be a matchup between to undefeated teams that nobody’s ever heard of until this season but I think after how they are doing this season their recruiting may increase astoundingly I give it a few years before they can compete with the big dogs tho

that makes absolutely no difference some of these scheduling are years in advance there's nothing you can do about changing scheduling Midway through the season. You just listen to the commentators. You can't blame it on the ucf's and the Boise States. You probably wouldn't even say it if you never heard it from the commentator.

Maybe so because they won the College World Series in 2016. Have several famous alum including Dustin Johnson, Josh Norman, Mike Tolbert, and Tommy LaStella. Just to name a few. They have been good in other sports as well. If you haven’t been or looked them up they have a beautiful campus.

@Andy Gygi why brag about Notre Dame had Clemson had their quarterback in from the minute get-go the starting quarterback I don't think Notre Dame even wins that game. But how are we going to schedule that the quarterback wouldn't be playing. You just like listening to all these commentators out here and that's it. And strength of schedule doesn't mean anything because many underdogs have beaten the top teams before. I know Virginia tech sucks so when liberty beat Virginia tech I already knew that there was a possibility behind it but you probably didn't think so. look how they ranked Louisville at the beginning of the season look how they ranked Virginia tech at the beginning of the season.
