The Sun Belt Conference may not have been a larger conference, but by the time the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, the UCF Golden Knights and the Houston Cougars from the American Athletic Conference, the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles and the UTSA Roadrunners from Conference USA, and the FBS Independent Liberty Flames join the Sun Belt, the Arkansas State Red Wolves could probably face the UCF Golden Knights and the Houston Cougars from the American Athletic Conference, the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, the FBS Independent Liberty Flames, and the 2 Conference USA Schools at the Centennial Bank Stadium. My father and I have actually driven through the campus of Appalachian State when we visited Boone a few years back. It just might be one of the most picturesque campuses in the United States. In addition to the amazing views and scenery, much of the buildings are made out of a red brick (which blends beautifully with many of the nearby trees and rocks). I can't imagine watching football in that environment, I might get distracted by the sheer scenery.

The San Marcos Bobcat Stadium had a 13,500 Seating expansion in 2012, thus the Texas State Bobcats became a new Football Bowl Subdivision team. The Texas State Bobcats might probably face the Houston Cougars from the American Athletic Conference, the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, and the UTSA Roadrunners from Conference USA, whose stadiums are the TDECU Stadium in Houston, the Amon G. Carter Stadium in Forth Worth, and the Alamodome in San Antonio. The TDECU Stadium in Houston might add 1,500 seats in the North Endzone plus 2 11,500 stands in the Northern Endzone and the Southern Endzone, thus the accumulated seating capacity would be 64,500

The Texas State Bobcats are the only Texas-based Athletic program of the Sun Belt Conference until the dissolution of the Big 12 Conference caused by the mass exodus of all 10 Conference members led by the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners might pave the way for the additions of the Houston Cougars, the TCU Horned Frogs, and the UTSA Roadrunners, along with the UCF Golden Knights, the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, and the Liberty Flames, as the Sun Belt Conference becomes one of the magnificent 7 NCAA FBS Superconferences, and the Mid-American Conference adds the UConn Huskies from the Big East Conference and the 3 FCS-to-FBS Transitional Schools are ready to face the MAC Powerhouse, the Northern Illinois Huskies

@@jonathan_tong93 If anything, the AAC stays around and it cherry picks teams from the Sunbelt and CUSA. UTSA is attractive only due to SA TV market, but it doesn't mean much because as you know, everyone's already an Aggie or Longhorn fan in the city when it comes to games on TV. Leftovers of CUSA and Sunbelt might merge or readjust members. I'm not a fan of 4 of the CUSA teams being in Texas.
