I, Ibrahim, Chinese born in Indonesia (South East Asia). I was first prapared to make Spaghetti, year 1977. I bought TABASCO Sauce in Gelael Supermarket, South Jakarta. By that time, American fast food Franchiser has not come to Indonesia yet. Since then, whenever I eat Pizza Hut, Spaghetti, KFC, Mcdonald, I always request to the waiter, to bring me Tabasco sauce. Now, already 44 years I have enjoyed Tabasco sauce.

Brian Gleason It’s aged for I think 8 years (as opposed to 3) so it has a deeper, mellower, more complex flavor with the same heat but no “bite.” It also has a really cool “tingly” mouthfeel if when you taste it straight. But the biggest difference is the Family Reserve uses white wine vinegar instead of distilled vinegar. Which gives it a lively twist. I order one off Amazon about once a month. It’s expensive ($15 iirc) but I think it’s totally worth it since it’s ages for so long and it tastes so good.

Love this idea. Never actually thought to have it on my eggs! I tend to put mine with Tabasco with meat mostly, but recently have tended to opt for chili flakes rather than this. Having watched this video I am going to switch back to using Tabasco in more stuff.

For some reason I like putting Tabasco Sauce on my Fritos...tastes great!

I like a lot of different hotsauce but Tobasco is always for breakfast.I cant wake up to eggs,bacon,sausage,bicuits and gravy,even pancakes and syrup without my Tobasco.Tobasco is my "morning hotsauce".

Tabasco sauce was the first pepper sauce I tried. I fell in love with it and today it is my favorite sauce on tacos and pizza.

yeah this is awesome. i remember when i was a kid, the first time i tried tabasco, i love it since then.

I'm Southeast Asian and grew up eating Asian food. Tabasco sauce has been my staple since young age. It's hard to believe something so American-Midwestern is so ingrained in the cuisine in this part of the world.

Of all the hot sauces i like this one the most, had them shipped periodicaly to Berlin .. even in the days of war.

Me: "why would I want to know how Tabasco sauce is made?" Also me : *watches entire video anyways*

I love this sauce!

I love Tabasco sauce. And I was thinking about how to make a Tabasco water gun. I would start with an empty Tabasco bottle (the big one) and then I would put about two teaspoons of baking soda into it with a funnel. Then I would stuff about ten inches of 30 pound test fishing line into the bottle, so that most of it is buried in the baking soda. Then I would pour about half an ounce of hot wax into the bottle to make a waterproof layer. This would completely cover the baking soda, and the buried fishing line. With a few inches of fishing line sticking out of the bottle, I would refill it with Tabasco sauce. Then I would tie the fishing line around a plastic ring, and then dip the entire top of the bottle in hot wax. So if I wanted some Tabasco sauce, I could pull on the plastic ring. That would cause the baking soda and Tabasco sauce to mix, which would make a really nice squirt gun. It’s ok, because Tabasco sauce doesn’t have much capsicum.

Tabasco is one of my all time favorite hot sauces. I go through several small bottles a year preferring to keep small bottles of fresh sauce in the fridge instead of big stale bottles. I also like Sriracha (Huy Fong) from California. It's completely different. I use both often.

The bottles were fashioned after the original bottles, which actually came from a pile of discarded perfume bottles that were behind the McIlhenny's family house on Avery Island (which was a salt mine for the Grand Southern Confederacy), hence the location of the salt used in the sauce recipe!
