Creative way of explaining how staffing agencies work.

how about just hire who is persistant enough? they would be willing to learn the job

Anybody that goes thru a staffing agency to get a job is wasting there time. I remember when I did this such shit results thank God them days are behind me now

But what about those who want TEMPORARY work. I'm retired and I want TEMPORARY WORK. I do not want to interview with clients for a two week job.

My biggest gripe about these staffing companies is their quality. When we get temps things start walking off. I had a hand hole reamer that walked off and a torque screwdriver that vanished and they were expensive.

So you're a C2C, one of the worst places you can get candidates from. Try a full-time perm agency, works better. Pay the fee associated with hiring. This isn't buying a soda at $1.99. Any business knows that talent costs money, and for difficult skills, a (real) hiring agency is the solution.

+Randy Wallace We should be limiting temp agencies that create or install the notion to companies that they have a large pool of whatever workers the company needs without benefits.

Hire REGULAR FULL TIME employees! Your agency should be ashamed of its dirty work! The agency recruiter isn't "temporary" (or OS he, too?!)
