ABOUT JAMES BLACKWELL
-----------------------------
James Blackwell is an entrepreneur from Newcastle, United Kingdom and owns a successful 7 Figure Recruitment Agency serving the UK and US markets.
James started his first business a coffee shop at 21 years old he then went onto selling cars for a living at BMW. He then started his career as a Recruiter at age 25 working as a Recruitment Consultant at a leading international recruitment business, he progressed there for 5 years to a Manager. He then started his own agency Ronald James (www.ronaldjamesgroup.com)
Today James’s recruitment business has grown from a one man operation to a $2million dollar agency with 13 employees and a highly profitable self managing company. Today Ronald James has grown from a scrappy kitchen startup to the market leader in Digital and Technology recruitments with almost 1000 successful placements and over 120 clients mainly retained and exclusive.
Through his journey of failure and success James has learned many things and believes that none of his success was due to “good luck” but rather an understanding of a few key fundamentals and believes that his success is fully replicable.
James’s story is unique and his advice to other recruitment entrepreneurs is clear and practical. James now is providing mentorship and an online program to help other recruiters start and grow an agency to 6-7 figures.

@@JamesblackwellrecruitmentI just find out this Business Idea, and I am very interest into it. QUESTION: Your Accelerator Course includes some Legalities and way in HOW TO do this kind of Business as an INTERNATIONAL HEADHUNTER (or Recruitment Agency) ?… Example: I am Peruvian American, I have Corporative Experience in my country (I used to work in a bank and manage teams over there) and I would like to set up An LLC here in the States and bring some Virtual Talent from PERÚ. BUT I don’t have idea in how to set up International Payments to the people I hired over there, and information in the Legalities involve of a US COMPANY taking International Remote employees🤔 Do you have that type of info in? Or the Course is focus in funnels And MKT? Thanks!🙌🏼

Watched this video absolutely reinforces and cements sufficient insight in getting started. I took a 10 year gap in the industry and absolutely thrilled in the way the industry has moved online which is far far easier being able to streamline time management etc. We now have a 6 figure bank balance with a turnover just over half a million first year and also now ready to take on remote BDM with a growing client database. Definitely a candidate led market.

Good content but I’d suggest investing in a high quality domain asset strategy. Then focus on company’s to represent. Having a lot of potential clients without high client company’s to place them with. Isn’t really a good idea. Lastly large company’s are focused your company’s image. Fortune 500 company would never consider an employment agency on a poor platform.

Charlie Lockwood direct hire, the client pays you a percentage of the candidate/hire’s starting annual salary. You place John at Company A. His starting annual salary is $60,000 and your service fee is 20%. After a negotiated time period( usually 90 days of the hire’s employment with the client), the client pays you 20% of that $60,000($12,000).

  • @bradleybiederer8796

John Buffalo I am 97 because if a company is willing to invest 20% of a candidates salary into your services, but they want to to make sure they’re not getting a candidate who hops around quickly or someone one they’ll fire. 90 days is usually a pretty good benchmark to know if a candidate will stay or if they want to keep the candidate.

When starting out, do you think it's best to be upfront about being a new agency or just not mention it unless asked? Also, when it is brought up, how do recommend responding? Thanks! Like your channel so far. New sub.

Good question Joe. I would respond by stating you have started your own agency if they do ask and just reassure that you are going to work harder and smarter than your competitors and play on your own track record at the agency you used to work for. Play on the fact you have took the risk to start up and that your reputation is important to you. I always said “just give me a shot”

Many moons ago, I worked for a recruitment company near where you are located actually, as I was a contractor they paid me directly after they got paid from my employer. Do you know much about this type of model, as I am very interested in launching something like this soon. I live in Dudley, Cramlington so not far from you if you would like to chat face 2 face.
