Practice making them... They're intimidating the first time but after you've made the first few of your first batch you start to learn fast. That or I'm just a quick learner in the kitchen.

I went to China 3 years ago I spent three weeks there and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The food is honestly the best! The last day there was the day I first tasted a soup dumpling and it was so delicious I keep searching for a restaurant here in France that makes them. I could probably eat Chinese food for the rest of my life and ditch pizza, that's how much I love it!

LifewithAnnaBee they will cook the soup and freeze it in the cooler, once it's solid they cut it into smaller pieces and put it into the dumpling, when they steam the dumpling, the soup melt and become the soup. This is what I know, hope it helps :D

OMG I LOVE THAT RESTURANT!!! Thank you so much, Tasty! You made my day!
I tried making Xiao Long Bao at home and I swear the skin is the trickiest to make. I almost gave up but I looked at how much it costed me to try and all the hard work I've put into assembling everything, I told myself I'd eat whatever will come out of the steamer regardless. Lol I appreciate soup dumplings from Din Tai Fung and other Chinese restaurants out there even more.
Oh the fond memories of my parents yelling at me to not touch the raw filling...
I'm someone who doesn't like a lot of different foods. My palate is limited and most of it is really plain foods. So when I first tried xiao long bao from Din Tai Fung, it was amazing. I actually found a food that was delicious and different from my usuals. Now I order them whenever I can. I also get the chicken fried noodles. It's literally just those two things. Over and over again.
Ding tai feng’s gotta be my favorite dumpling restaurant. Almost cried when they mentioned it in the video.

Id love some of these right now!
I've never had them before but they look delicious, I love Chinese & Japanese food over American food any day
me binge watching soup dumplings and too lazy to get up and actually eat them😭😭
Their rice porridge is also delicious...I always order for the porridge everytime I got sick..the warmth of the porridge is feels like a mother's hug...love...
Holy shit din tai fung getting recognition!! Never knew it was a family company.. salivating over here tbh anyone else watch them through that glass window they always have??

love din tai fung! everyone has to go try out these dumplings at least once in their lives. it's a heavenly experience. I'm so proud of being Chinese :)
I love din tai fung! It’s one of my favourite restaurants. The first time I had soup dumplings was at din tai fung in Jakarta!
It takes a few years to master making a portion of dumplings and one minute to eat it!!!😴😢😝😭😊
Im so gonna get some xiao long bao at my local din tai fung tmr
fav restaurant and xiao long bao💗💗 so glad tasty featured this
Loved this video, more series like this please
DIN TAI FUNG IN TAIWAN IS AMAZINGGGGG
Wut I usually do with soup dumplings is that I would bite a small hole and pour the soup into my spoon. If drink the soup then dip the dumpling in the sauce then eat it, sometimes with ginger sometimes not. I know some ppl so a small variation but this seems like how ppl generally do it, at least how my fam does it
the dough looks *really* satisfying
OMG! These are my FAVORITE at Din Tai Fung! I have been craving these for so long! I think the universe is telling me it is time!

Big ups to the people who actually make these foods. The ones who work hard...hope they are being treated right! Because these two suits saying things like "we" do this and "we" do that but we all know they aint gon get their hands dirty.

Lmao, even in the biggest Asian businesses the owners force their heirs to directly get their hands dirty to understand the process. It's just a regular thing here.

Tried din tai fung’s soup dumplings and it’s a little overrated. A little bland. I’ve tried other soup dumplings from small mom-and-pop places and they’re way better in terms of flavor and price.

Rachel Ding they could be pronouncing in a different dialect. As far as I'm concerned, they're only pronouncing "xiao" incorrectly (and even then, the pronounciation can be debated. Also, the americanization of the word usually sounds more like "shao" rather than "see-yow").
