How Sherpas have evolved ‘superhuman’ energy efficiency

Sherpas have evolved to become superhuman mountain climbers, extremely efficient at producing the energy to power their bodies even when oxygen is scarce, suggests new research published today in the Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).

Amazing people!! I seen a rescue of a person that fell and was dangling over a crevasse and the sherpa were so impressive rescuing that person. I was blown away at their abilities.

It is due to the EPAS1 gene, inherited from Denosovians via interbreeding of the homo sapiens and Denisovans ; this gene has helped them adapt to altitude.

Never underestimate cold and exhaustion in a treacherous environment... I've read some elite climbers smoke weed to alleviate symptoms, which I can only imagine leaves them high as F...

It's from living at high altitudes which gives them more full spectrum sunlight exposure. That is why they are so tanned. They are thereby extremely energy efficient and store more light in their cells.

Asians are the superhumans of mankind. They live in the coldest climates, hotest climates, highest altitudes, in the forest, in the sea, etc.

Saying that Sherpa is a race coming from a scientist says a lot, biology has discarded the word race to describe human populations. The proper word is ethnicity.

They eat a ketogenic diet of yak butter when ascending much of the time, which is deuterium depleting. They also live in an area with low deuterium in the water because of an asteroid event. Thus, they are drinking water which keeps their deuterium levels low. Deuterium breaks the nano-motors in cellular mitochondria.

By any chance do the Sherpas use prayer wheels? Spinning copper have truly profound health effects that are yet to be fully discovered. I don't have prayer wheels, but I do use spinning copper designs that are positioned on fans, so they can run 24 hours a day. This video is one of many showing how it can be done. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qIyKu6WJY6vQkpc.html Great news!! A Google search indicates that the Sherpas are highly reliant on prayer wheels. Sir, you have the answer you've been looking for!
