    I’m that guy that trailered my car 700 miles to you guys to have it dyno tuned. I guess my thought was that I would get a better result by having it on the dyno, lol.

    There's nothing wrong with that all, and it's preferred if that's something the customer wants to do. This was just pointing out that it's not NECESSARY for most builds.

    You definitely will get a more accurate tune, they pretty much say that at one point. They have to make it to where they work with all cars and not all engines run the same. So when. They can see it doing pulls and live data. Way better

    Good video fellas. I can feel the "tired of answering the same damn questions" coming off this. It's common sense, most of it. The Karens complaining are the same people that bought rims, paint, and window tint in Need For Speed, instead of engine mods. 🤣

    I've got a 2014 Cruise Eco with the m32 6 speed. I currently have the k&n typhoon and I'm thinking of getting the modified intake manifold. The car has nearly 140,000 on it and I'm sure the PCV which was stupidly built into the intake manifold is going to need replaced soon. I was also thinking about installing your upgraded intercooler. That would free up the intake side with exception to the turbo itself. I have plans on a remote tune also. Should I wait until I install all the parts? I'm also curious of the car will run without the tune with those modifications until I can get the tune done. It's my soul vehicle and daily driver.

    question my zzp guys. i have an lsj thats tuned by a local shop and wanted to switch over to remote tuning. will the hp tuner credits transfer over or will i have to rebuy them?

  • @gbrunner24

    @gbrunner24

    2 жыл бұрын

    Your credits stay married between the MPVI and your PCM/VIN, so as long as those things haven't changed, then you do not need to re-purchase credits for your car. If the shop used THEIR HPT device, and you now have one, you will need to purchase 2 credits.

    What if I have a trifecta tune already? Are you able to flash over that or how would that work ?

  • @gbrunner24

    @gbrunner24

    2 жыл бұрын

    With a Trifecta tuned PCM you will have to use your Trifecta cable to flash back to a stock file, then we are able to use HPTuners to read/write. If it's still on the Trifecta file we are locked out.

    Why is your dyno closed? I'd prefer to dyno tune the car so I can know what I'm making at the wheel

  • @gbrunner24

    @gbrunner24

    Dyno tunes take a vast amount of time and resources, and when we're already overworked and overbooked it was one of the first things to get cut. Remote tuning is sometimes even better than a dyno due to the car actually being under real operating conditions; real world airflow, real world load on the car, etc.

    @ZZPerformance I'm scared to remote tune but really need it now. Still getting a misfire code after new spark plugs, last owner did a "custom tune" so yeahhh. Does purchasing the 1.0 LSJ PCM come with a tune for the car and can the PCM itself be installed by the customer easily?
