Do you need credits every single time you flash a new tune through HP tuners? Even if it's a file that you've modified yourself?

I’m interested in tuning my Cruze but I want to have mappable tunes. Such as an eco, all the way to highest performance. How would you do that for this?

1986 fiero gt ,1997 riviera 3800 s/c series II with factory fiero muncie 282 and 1992 Bonneville pcm and wiring harness. Bonneville pcm replaced at some time with Olds 3800 pcm. can It be flached . can sensors and other things be deleted.

I have a question that might be stupid, but if I purchase the interface off of you guys after finishing the tune, is it something that can hold multiple tunes that I can switch back and forth with? For example if I wanted to be able to switch from a stock tune, to performance, etc. or is the zzp tune just an all around performance tune that doesn’t need to be switched around all the time? I’m new to tuning so I don’t really know much about it.

Yeah you'll wanna put all the parts on for the tune you received prior to flashing the new-non-stock tune

So how much does it cost to get the remote tune with the interface and laptop? I seen hp tuners on zzp.com for $299. Does that include the laptop also?

Hey I took my car to a performance shop in Amarillo. If the right calculations aren’t right could it throw off the sensors and cause bigger damage? Like to the cylinders and spark plugs? Even possibly to where it pretty much blew my engine? My first cylinder stoped working and it reduced the power and now my engine won’t even stay on. I think im just gonna call you guys this time and do it this way as the video shows. I don’t trust anyone else anymore.

Only bc i asked the same question, im able to answer for them; go to this page. ( zzperformance.com/collections/3800/products/zzp-1-0-pcm ) and run through the options(youll see email a HPt file in core charge) and thats it they said theyll do 1-2 free tweaks after the initial file they make. Very fair company

Hey im having an issue with the rented computers saying interface not found, can connect to the scanner no problem but in the editor no interface found, yes i have closed the scanner, this is with your computer and mpvi3

Under the help tab in editor, try resyncing interface. If re-syncing does not help try deleting the license file on the computer. To do this you'll go to This PC > Documents > HP Tuners > Settings then delete the "license.dat" file. Once that's done go back to the editor and click on resync interface. Last resort, download the MPVI 3 drivers from HPTuners website and try again.

You can read a PCM without credits using HPT, but you cannot make changes and save the file. We do not recommend copy-ing and pasting a tune, especially if it's a new 6th generation Camaro. We highly recommend getting a custom tune for your vehicle, we rent HPTuners if you do not want to fully invest in keeping HPT (although we would recommend it).

Does anyone know if this interface works with Windows or IOS? Or both?

You'll want to discuss that with your tuner before flashing back to stock. Especially if you've already added several mods to your car.

So how many ponies does this Sonic have with the tune? Tri Fecta Tune gives up to 40 HP's.

I doubt it ....I had the trifecta turbo advantage tune and the fuel calibration was the same as stock I seen it on my ultra gauge 0.68 it just spooled up faster and gave you a quicker feel although doing runs on my stock tune I still went to 0.68 which is 10 with a wideband AFR 21 psi and the stock tune did 3 mph faster just took longer to get there

@@TheThirdWheel618 OK, so even at 21 psi? I had the tune fry my whole CPU & Even the reset counter in it! The tech was more concerned with the hours he had to work then to listen at Trifecta. ZZP is where I got my MSD Coil Pack & a Few other goodies, at least they can back up guarantees & warranties too. I would never put that Trifecta tune back on my 2015 Sonic. Thank you for your honest reply it is well appreciated with that knowledge, especially all the gimmick plug & play or similar tunes!

I like this idea for tuning, as I’m not really into computers like I should be. I have had an idea for a business like yours to remotely access someone’s computer so you can control the laptop that you send them. That would be great for people that don’t have as much computer knowledge. Let me know if this might be possible in the future. Also curious about the cost of the procedure in this video.

And how do we go about renting it? I dont see an option on your site.

@@boosted0079 no, I mean GEAR as in punch it and let it switch gears (1 or 2) while you're flooring it. However, when logging you can make the log any length you want. So drive normal and also drive wide open throttle. The purpose is to get your long term and short term fuel trims, along with air fuel ratios at partial and wide open throttle. It also helps with transmission shifts and shift points.
