madhatten00 Jon won’t “die” in the way you’re talking about. His heart will be pierced with dragon glass and he will become the new Night King. We all know the Night King has the ability to control the dead. They don’t have enough people to defeat the dead so John will sacrifice himself, become the Night King, stop the army of the dead and lead them back over the wall where he will remain. It’s a bittersweet ending just like George R. R. Martin said.

I think it was a littlefinger plot to get Pod to come back and spill secrets on Tyrion. As Doreah says "Men like to talk when they are happy".

Also helps that Aemon was a big influence on Jon. He also decided not to take the throne when it was offered.

Very true, I think because Aemon was blind all his other senses were heightened, I believe he knew and felt Jon was somehow connected to him through blood. He always looked out for Jon, and helped guide him throughout his journey at the wall.

This will however, not matter because everyone else will die as well including her. As the dead are rushing in to kill Bran in the godswood, he will warg back in time and change something crucial preventing the apocalypse. When he opens his eyes, he is standing up right, in a different future.

Agreed. They aren't getting their happy ending. I believe there will be some happy endings but they will be few and far between. For sure one of them is going to die. I personally don't care for Dany as she's been showing her "mad" tendencies a bit too much lately and has been a pretty insufferable character for me for the past couple seasons. I'm just really hoping Jon didn't just get brought back to life to kill the nights king so he could die again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The song (Jenny’s Song) that Podrick sang sounds so poignant. It’s tugging at my heartstrings. 💔

They need to destroy that throne at the end of the season just like they destroyed the one ring in LOTR at the end, i mean the parallels btw the iron throne and the one ring are a lot similar they both make people go crazy and blind for power. So the best option is to destroy it and get rid of it once and for all because after all the bloodshed that was caused by that throne i think this kind of ending would be fitting for the show, and since everyone who we have seen sitting on that throne so far had a miserable end means that in the game of thrones no one wins, so the world will be a far better place without that damn chair.

I get your point but the only way the throne gets destroyed is if white walkers win and the throne would t matter anyway but if the humans win someone is going to be the king. You compare it with the ring but the ring has mystical powers which drive you crazy the throne just has the pressure of being a ruler. I hope Jon sits on the throne. But the power of the throne might get toned down as Jon seems like a good guy who cares about the people and if Danny wins she also said she wants to break the wheel etc. in a figurative sense it might get lessened

I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics of the song but I'd say the tone kinda foreshadow the heartbreaks that will be coming with watching many more major characters kicking the bucket...I just hope Ghost and Drogon will make it out...oh and I also can't wait to watch how Cersei dies.

The song is a feint. Jon will end up on the throne because he is the only one that doesn't really want it since fate is twisted that way. Ser Alliser even predicted it: "You'll be fighting their battles forever."

Jamie and podrick character progression has been some of the best that I've seen in any show!!

I think the song was meant to foreshadow the sudden doom that waits outside the castle.

not sure how love between a prince and a commoner relates to Jamie and Cersei, but other than that, great theory! the scene gave me Pippin vibes as well

Jon may survive but eventually turn into Night King himself. Somehow to sacrifice himself for the survival of others, or something like that. Not sure who will sit on iron throne though. May be no one because the throne won't be any more but will be melted back into formless metal by the fire of the dragon.

@@Integroabysal Jon Snow taking the Iron Throne with his child would still be considered a happy ending, even if Danerys died. Besides, we all know that Bronn is the prince that was promised. He's gonna come in on the back of an elephant wielding that crossbow while it's on fire and shoot it through the Night Kings eye and proceed to become the new Warden of the North.

Being a reluctant hero, Jon will surrender his claim to the iron throne. l think he would rather be king of the north because that's where he was raised and lived all his life... maybe take Sansa as his queen since they are actually cousins rather than siblings

Everyone’s conjecturing about Aegon Targaryen 6th of his names fate. Aegon is going to have a more Aragon ending seeing he doesn’t want to rule but that the mantle is always placed upon him and he always gives in.. He will be a great King of the six kingdoms but he will rule alone with his child as Danny passes during child birth.

I actually liked Jon and Dany together... until I found out Jon is actually Aegon. Now it’s just gross. I think Dany should rule, Jon should convince her to cede the north to Sansa, and Jon should be Dany’s hand. That way both Dragons have riders. Unless they can turn Viserys back?? Then Tyrion as hand, and Jon as King in the North, and if Tyrion is a Targaryen(I rly hope so bc except for Jaime, Lannisters are all shitheads) then all three dragons will have riders. Who knows maybe they will all be dead come episode 3 🥶🥶🥶☠️☠️☠️

King George's brother who was shortly king, but never coronated apparently gave his title up for a woman, yes, he's in the show the Crown, which is about Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth in their early years, King George was Elizabeth's father and is known to be the king who stuttered.

I totally felt like Pods song reminded me of Pippins song. Awesome.

When Bran meets Daenerys for the first time, he doesn't seem to see her as any 'hope' to winning the war but more of a problem. There is not time for this, 'He has your dragon and he is coming'. Also he doesn't see her sitting on the throne rather he see more Jon as the King now.

Maybe the term "Prince that was Promised" was always misunderstood. Maybe it doesn't refer to a prince who was promised to others (what all Targaryens think it refers to), but rather to a prince who is promised the throne, but rejects it.

That scene was based off the scene in lotr when pippin sang for the steward of gondor

@@thelukos ye but if you think about it it is incredibly similar as tyrion demands a song and everyone says they dont have one he looks at podrick and he starts singing. In lotr the steward of gondor asks for a song but pippin doesnt want to and doesnt think his song is fit for a king but he eventually dtarts singing. Podrick then begins singing in basically the exact same tone as pippin did. And then in got we start seeing shots of some of the main charactrrs on the eve of battle and in lotr we saw feremir (i think) riding into the battle of osgiliath.

shahrukh mohammad - that makes sense. I remember season after season the old man raven kept warning Bran not to stay too long in his visions as he may get trapped. I think the knight king was the first three eyed raven who stayed too long in a vision and got caught by the children of the forest. Maybe it is even Bran. Who knows.
