Bro for small amounts it's one year or so, but for higher amounts you can face upto 12 years of rigerous punishment in jail as you'll then be deemed as a distributor not just a consumer

@ankitbigul the United States lol pricing depends on what state your in. Currently 38 of 50 states allow for medical marijuana use and 24 of the 50 states allow for recreational use. Medical use meaning you have to have a medical marijuana card from the state to buy it and recreational use meaning anyone over the age of 21 can legally walk Into a dispensary buy and possess up to a certain amount. My state that I live in is fully legal for recreational use so I'm legally allowed to have up to 2.5 ounces and 15 grams of extracts, and im allowed to grow up to 6 plants at my house if I wanted.

@ankitbigul it is still federally illegal though to the federal government but the 10th amendment of the us constitution limits what laws the federal government can make states follow and marijuana laws fall under this category because they contradict eachother. The federal government is free to make and enforce its own marijuana laws but it cannot make states follow those laws that's why certain states are able to be fully legal and not break any federal laws.
