Even after educating you, you have taken your parents money for wedding? You should be capable of managing your own expenses if you aren't doing court marrige. Considering you are educated so could have worked and saved for marrige. I am not blaming you, don't know your situation but this could be improved so parents can have money post retirement to complete their ambitions (like travelling etc.)

@@amansohani4620 Are you passing a judgment without knowing the complexities of life? Arunima ji was expressing how her parents were wise with such fondness.. try to understand her point of view and respect it. You might have more liberty and choices to lead a better informed life today. But don’t judge others without knowing their surroundings and situations. Try it. It helps you connect with people instead of spreading negativity. Best wishes!

Sir, in my family relation, there is one known relative, they live in Chhatarpur area of Delhi. They are highly rich and cultured people, They had spent 2.5 crores in their daughter’s grand wedding. Every thing was so smooth. People took it as an ideal wedding. Parents of the bride thought it to be the best gift for their daughter. But nobody knew that this great grand wedding would not be able to last even for 10 months !! क्या करेंगे इतने करोड़ रुपया देकर जब आपकी beti ही ख़ुश नहीं हैं??😢 Now their daughter is crying day and night to get a divorce, but she isn’t able to . She is suffering day and night . I don’t understand why people anticipate that spending more and more money will guarantee a happy and successful and satisfied life , Rather than focusing on a happy and satisfied life for their children.

Since past 70 years, 3 generations of my family have been doing the things that you mention in this video. Unfortunately people find it nearly impossible to keep things simple & live within their means. My father a self-made man of immense accomplishments, internationally reputed engineer & having highest ethical standards gave me the following advice when I started my career: 1. Don't do anything that will cause you loss of sleep when you are 65 years old because you cannot buy it. 2. People will respect you for what you are, and not for that you have. 3. Sustainability is the cause of happiness. 4. Simple things in life are always enjoyed the most. 5. Greed causes endless dissatisfaction & unhappiness 6. Live upto your own expectations & not those of others

This was my story,,, my English is not so good,,, after watching your video, I found my decisions were right... Thank you guru ji...🙏🙏🙏

We have told same to our children and we are following all the 4 points that u have mentioned in your video. Also we have told them clearly that we will fund their education till graduation in India. But if they want to go for higher education abroad, then they have to take education loan and go on their own. Very true. Especially in North India, marriages are celebrated like it is the last day of life. I agree that we should follow our traditions. 🙏 I got married in a traditional South Indian style, low key wedding with only core members of our families. No "sosha giri of any kind"; we saved the money and brought things to start our life. Thanks for such eye opening videos; these kinds of videos are the necessity for today's youth. I enjoy listening to the way you put things in perspective. Good luck and please keep making such videos. God bless India.

If SUV needed, can buy 16 lakhs Honda Elevate (2) Children's education: Instead of studying in Australia, USA, UK, go to cheaper countries such as Germany, Taiwan etc. (3) Marriage: get married in a country where pre-nuptial agreements are valid documents. That way assets are protected. (4) Assets: On a plot of 100 sq.m, build a 3 floor property where the ground floor is commercial rental, 1st floor is for apartment rental, and top floor is for personal usage.

I am surprised to see people ( with middle class earnings) spend so much on branded clothing, shoes and electronics , cars, jewelry, luxury vacations etc. They take loans so easily and practically are living pay check to pay check. And the college expenses part is so true. College is a big business all over the world, and we should invest wisely after thorough research. Give your kids a good educational foundation, and teach them the value of hard work and money, that’s most important in my opinion.

Excellent perspective indeed. Very few of us realize these things and get carried away in showing off and trying to match up a false status level which is of no use. Sir your inputs are valuable and realistic. We the middle class should be live to these thoughts and use our efforts and earnings carefully. Thanks a ton.

Eye opening. Now, as being father, i have changed my mind, and will do whatever in the best interest of my child, rather do expenditure on useless things, unnecessarily. Hats off sir.
