    Spent 70% of earnings on gas oil tires maintenance 😂

    His finale is based off of tip and delivery fees. Companies like Uber eats and door dash pays a stipen usually per mile. It’s usually not a lot like for example Uber eats it is $0.60 which is usually enough to cover all of your gas and preventative maintenance like oil and tires. The average gas tank is 15 gallons. The average range for 15 gallons is around 300 miles. The average gas price in California is $5.60 a gallon. So if you use a full tank of gas you’ll pay $84 and uber will pay your $180 for 300 miles of driving. That is $96 extra on top of what you already made. Let’s talk about oil. So an oil change is recommended every 3,00-5,000 miles based on what your drive so let take the average and say 4000 miles. That is roughly 14 fill ups. So $96x14 is $1,344. The average oil change at in California is $25-$55 depending on your vehicle so let’s say $55. That is still $1289 per oil change(4,000) miles. Your making average of $1289/ 4,000 miles. So consider most tires are rated at 50,000 and breaks at roughly 25,000 miles And unless your raging your car and driving poorly. Your vehicle repairs aren’t really that common or that expensive So I think it’s safe to say Uber eat compensation for this things is well covered. And once again this is completely separate from your tips and delivery fees.

    @@JFroMG_YT you don’t account for anything else. One breakdown can cost big. What happens when your transmission goes out or motor decides to die??? What happens when you have to replace ball joints or bearings or whatever else??? They don’t compensate for that. It’s not worth it. You can make money at it on a side hustle but not really full time. The price of tires are getting more and more. So one break down it could cost more then you made.

Only maintenance is: oil, tranny fluid changes, tires, back brake pads, air filters replacement and spark plugs. Lowest cost of maintenance car for delivery work. 50 + miles/gallon. Get a Prius. * also dude doesn’t use an insulated delivery bag to carry customers food in video. Get a couple insulated bags to keep hot/cold food preserved. How would you want your food delivered?

On weekends If I do full days Friday and Saturday I can make 400 dollars, after gas. (Full day is 9 or more hours.) I spend about 20 on gas to make 100 profit. It helps tremendously that DD is providing a 10% cash back for any gas purchase. Temporary, till the end of August. I know the area that I deliver in very well, what deliveries to skip, (never ever waste your time going to pick up groceries, such as cvs or walmart. Its ALWAYS a waste of time and a hassle) where to park at each pick up point, and I have a list of gate codes to properties that I have gone to before.

    @@noahbaatz6115 uber eats only require liability and that is off their website.. It’s your choice to get full coverage. If you are relying on your vehicle as your job then yes I recommend it. But even with full coverage and a somewhat clean driving record which Uber eat does require to drive for them. Then even full coverage in California is not that high and the $0.60/mile stipen Uber eat pays will usually cover that as well

  • @JFroMG_YT

    @JFroMG_YT

    Жыл бұрын

And once again this is completely separate from your tips

    It's like this in Seattle, especially when nearly every delivery I do gives an extra tip afterwards because I stick a post it tk the receipt/bag/package that says, "Thank you and enjoy, [customer name]! ツ -Jess" I pre-write a stack of post-its with everything but the customer name, so when I accept an order I quickly write their name in pretty calligraphy. I also proactively message them in the app, with keyboard shortcuts like "TF" for, "Thanks for your patience, I'm on my way!" And, "IW" for, "Your order is safe and warm in an insulated bag!" Or "YW" for, "You are the second of two deliveries I am assigned, but don't worry: it is safe and warm in an insulated bag!" But yes: the wear and tear on my vehicle makes me more selective of where and when I accept orders. Obviously a bad tip on an order from Din Tai Fung will be better than a great tip on a McDonalds order. My decline rate is higher than my acceptance rate because I refuse to waste my time or gas for a deliver that calculates out to being less than minimum wage. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤓😉
