I was $50 short I hit the streets made $75 in 4 hours. I don’t do this full time but it comes in clutch when you are short on bills.

When you low on rent you gotta do them walmart orders and shop and pay orders them mfs be $20-30 and have you making atleast 120 in 4 hrs i start at 6am catch a bunch of dunking donuts orders then 7am walmart starts grocery orders ill be in the parking lot and most people dont accept walmart trips so ill snatch up the $21 for 5 miles trip and then ill go back to walmart sit in the parking lot and wait

Good tips! Also, I’d say stop accepting $5/$6 orders. Even 3 miles can be a long way when you’ve taken a 3 mile/ $6 order and there’s hardly any parking, the apartment building is like a maze, person doesn’t give you information etc…. Too many variables to take low orders. Somebody, $5/ 2 miles, texted me no less than 5 times from when I was right in front of his gate until I dropped off. Changed it from “meet outside” to “meet at the door”. The text messages were starting to feel weird. And in the end, he gave me the wrong apt number. He transposed 2 numbers so I dropped it on the 1st fl instead of ground (0) floor. He ended up taking his $2 tip back. Never again.

@@tampamari030975I believe they are partnered, it’s not separate. I’ve done an order for Uber Eats that was a Walmart order. Like messed up and had to go back but before the customer found it. Couldn’t even find where the customer was.. it can be a pain if you are going to apartments in the middle of say downtown or in the city. I obviously did not receive tip for that but there is good money to be made with Walmart deliveries for sure

Based on about $11 an hour, it’s definitely not worth it and that’s way less than minimum wage. I’d refuse to do in that area or anywhere else unless it paid at least $25 an hour.

People who make that little suck at it. Plain and simple. I have 5 different gig apps all running at the same time. I have a strategy of where to be throughout the day. A full 8-10 hours of working I’ll make between $240-$300 and 12 hour days are often $340-$380. Obviously the bad days will happen but the $400 days can occur too to make up for it. And I’m in a city that’s just outside the top 50 biggest metropolitans. So unless you live in a small city or town, everyone can do this if you use multiple apps and strategize

there is a rate per delivery anywhere from $3-$20 depending and tip is added on that. not sure if uber takes a cut from the tip.

@@sarafofara yeah but it’s usually closer to two dollars or three dollars. I’m talking all of the apps that I do anyway or have seen on here and that covers all the popular well-known ones. It would have to be a really expensive order usually with a lot of items, often to shop and pay, and then deliver, going far for it to be on that higher end . I’ve actually never seen that and that’s including on here. Unless you’re talking about other platforms with large order programs and catering apps.

A small to (sadly) average tip is 2/3 of the payment or more, depending on the app very often. The bulk of it is the tip. Especially for straight up delivery versus shopping.

the customer has the pin and you put it in the app, that shows you delivered

$10 an hour 😯 I took a swing at it for 3-4 hours and made $110. That’s $27 to $30 an hour (not factoring fuel). Not sure 🤔

It all depends where you deliver, if you get no tips or very low tips you make no money, I know because I tried Ubereats delivery.

@@ron5767 being in a surge zone means you’re more likely to get a delivery (and you’ll make like a dollar more per delivery) but you can still get deliveries outside of them!

@@zone6balebzone6baleb49 OK I’m not a professional, but just in general anything that you need for your job /including is an independent contractor such as your cell phone and bill, mileage I believe at $.65 a mile that you can claim but don’t quote me… the list goes on, depending how many gadget to use like chargers and phone mounts for the dashboard. Gas is the biggest one in the short term anyway. Starters tend to go quicker for delivery people. Batteries just anything that you need for your car and your phone pretty much all I believe is tax deductible, although I don’t know about a whole new engine or something. Lmao oh, but like oil changes, there’s another example something you need more frequently. Depending how much you deliver and how much Drive in general. I hope that helps but definitely see a professional who specializes in gig work if possible if you’re doing this.
