@@thelasthallow Ford did away with the 5.4, the last production year was 2010, since then you will get the 5.0 or the v6 ecoboost, however Ford recently released the 5.2 on the Mustang Shelby Gt350 and 500 series cars. Its also a naturally aspirated engine which produces 525 hp, don't know if it will be offered in a truck package.

no fucking shit, i said "the last revision" meaning the last change they made to the engine, and the 5.2 has been out for several years now on the mustang its the fucking voodoo engine and it was specifically designed to go into the GT350 cars, i know my shit i used to build parts for the current S550 Mustang every day.

Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2007 F150 like yours and the guy that I bought it from already paid for the work you did plus new tires and brakes and rotors. It had been sitting for about 8 months before I bought it. He sold it to me for $1750 and I am still wondering why. I keep thinking something must be wrong but it runs great and the 4x4 works good too. Keep up the hard work.
Love it,wish I had just a portion of your skills , I have the desire to buy a truck and fix it up , nothing is impossible. keep on doing what your doing.
I pray this man has his own shop. He deserves it.
Amazing work man. I have the 5.4 3v in my expedition. Do everything myself as well.
Awesome video. As a former mechanic I really enjoyed this video. I only buy older F150’s and fix them up and flip them. Your knowledge and demeanor makes your video tp notch. I just subscribed. Keep up the good and looking forward to more videos!!!
I just bought a 2004 for 1500, needed transmission and had also a bad code with motor (p0012). Did the transmission for 1,340, and now I'm looking at the motor and watching youtubes about how trashy these motors. You inspired me to keep on going and hopefully make this truck unbreakable! THANKS MAN!
Amazing video bro. Keep it up. You’re on the right track

Well done men you did a great job I appreciate for posting the video
This guy gets me inspired. Love his attitude about what he does.
I watched your whole series on this f150. You just gained yourself a subscriber. Great work.
You're a legit badass man love your content and appreciate you sharing your thoughts
That was a great series. Great attitude man!
Good looking truck. I like extended cabs. Added internal storage and a regular size bed. The 4 door models with 5 foot bed look like an SUV with open air porch. Thanks for showing us how!
really appreciate ur msg, hope ur channel blows up~
I just got one with 223k miles for $1000 lol… 4x4 and covered with rust. Only reason it wouldn’t run is the alternator, now it runs and drives smooth! I may do the oil pump, timing set and whatnot just to keep it running for a long time. And now I need to learn how to do some basic body work to prevent it from rusting itself out! Hello from Alaska, this series has been cool! I’ve been looking everywhere learning about this engine and this 11th gen Ford.
Civilians and mechanics, amen to that coming from an aircraft mechanic. I have a F150 with this same 5.4, I’m pretty inspired to put in some of the work you just did
I believe you Won the Lottery on this Truck, Great work on the Mechanic job-it is very Rewarding to See a Job Well Done...
Nice work man and i like your music. Keep it up!
Inspirational man great work
I like the analogy of applying the methodology to all aspects of life -- so true.
My 2000 f150 5.4L 2V is at 316,538 miles and still a work horse. Good vid bud

2V are the real bullet proof Engines. I seen the frame rot out before the engine gives it up...

supposedly the last revision of this engine where they remove the cam phasers is even more reliable since they removed one of the big failure points.

@@thelasthallow Ford did away with the 5.4, the last production year was 2010, since then you will get the 5.0 or the v6 ecoboost, however Ford recently released the 5.2 on the Mustang Shelby Gt350 and 500 series cars. Its also a naturally aspirated engine which produces 525 hp, don't know if it will be offered in a truck package.

no fucking shit, i said "the last revision" meaning the last change they made to the engine, and the 5.2 has been out for several years now on the mustang its the fucking voodoo engine and it was specifically designed to go into the GT350 cars, i know my shit i used to build parts for the current S550 Mustang every day.
great videos thanks man
Here you out here working in the freekin' snow... !!!...I have 2 dudes I know w/ 2 and 3 car garages and dont work on jack...One is even a Helicopter tech....Always taking thier stuff to the "dealer"....They lazy AF...Me..I bought a old '94 Ford...I been thru ev'ry area of that truck....Front to back ..side to side...Did all in a parking lot....One has a heated garage..(3 car one)....I even offered to do basic maint for a fee ofc on thier vehicles...They blow me off.......Learnt it from watching You Tube vids like yours....Keep up the good work...We need 'em....!!!

Like your attitude keep up the good work brother
Love your channel man!!!
You got a new subscriber bro. Great video, great message.💪🏾💪🏾💯💯
well done buddy, great video
I've been thinking recently about paying the rest of my loan off of my truck and getting another truck that needs less stuff or trying to restore it and make it something that I want.. This gave me more drive to restore my truck man.. I'm considering this a pep talk lol. Good vids. Chunking the peace at yah. Take care.
Bruh, you are talking real talk. Much respect!
Great good you had a plan and stucked with it 🙏
Recently discovered your channel and I'm loving it! What kind of businesses have you started? Would love to see a video where you talk about that
Great message great video! 👍
I have a 2006 F150 5.4 with 130,000 miles and just spent $3,700 for a valve job, new timing set and cam phasers, spark plugs and coils, miscellaneous gaskets and other parts I also had the transmission fluid and filter changed...my hat is off to you for doing the work yourself...I was afraid to try to fix this motor myself because of the complicated design...GOOD JOB AND WELL DONE
Real talk at the end 👍
First video bud and you got me I like how you do stuff
Love the vids man lol maybe one day we will see that f150 Lifted up
Love the video brother.
Excellent, way to represent!
RTW - You should video a chat with Mike Rowe. So much wisdom about real people and real work... I grew up in Pittsburgh, now I am reminded of having my tools freeze to my hands in the winter, working on my '52 Chevy - it was ten years old and already a $100 rust bucket. I'm still fixing stuff fifty years later, those skills and habits are lifelong assets. Good on ya.
Much respect to you my good brotha, keep doing what you're doing, you know why, because it's just good COMMON SENSE that many of us don't seem to have or really just REFUSE to have.MUCH RESPECT AND SUCCESS TO YOU....What state are you in????
Good shit! Thank you
You did it right, and you have the in depth knowledge. I concur. I relate to your ideology of not giving up, in whatever. I've been " married " to my f-150 , 17 yeeeears, with pitfalls. The upkeep was mostly the last 4-5 years, but am believer in keeping it real, keeping it original. Am at that crossroad now, of, do I go for the $53,000+ new, or revive what is mine. I believe in you, man, keep the faith, and all will stay true. By the way, my 17 year old " commitment " is turning 350,000 mi. very shortly.
Very inspiring thanks
Keep it up bro!
Hell yeah best attitude. A parts list would be nice to.
Love your videos bro! Good camera work and editing. Very instructional! Just bought a navigator with the 5.4 for the wife and new son. Your videos have helped me immensely in getting acquainted with the platform. Thank you!!! PS. Please use jackstands. We only get one body until we meet Jesus. Happy New year!!

Yeah, he can get cheap ones from Wally world or Harbor Freight....Getting crush by a car is # 5 way mechanics lose thier life or ability to continue thier profession......The 1st ofc is a shitty divorce w/ alimony and child support pymts....
Nice job!!! Great attitude!!!!
Love the hustle.
Just found ur channel. Subscribed. I own an 08 f150 with the 5.4. I was thinking about pulling heads too cause those plugs have me worried. You had a good idea there when you took the exhaust manifolds out with the heads. I’m an old heavy duty mechanic from Canada but I have a heated garage unlike you. Take it easy bud. You push yourself pretty hard.

If you have the brown boots your plugs are the newer ones that don’t break. Check out fordtechmakuloco channel he’s the man
Dude you’re spot on about owning the note. That type of thinking will make you wealthy
Good message my friend I love this channel , like in another video I have one of these trucks I cannot work on it however I make enough money to get a mechanic to work on this truck an still for it at a steal , I think I’ll do the samething to my truck great inspired truck nice work again.
So true. Thank you, sir.
Do your thing bro !
Great job and great video . Yes you did bullet proof it . I did the same thing on 2 5.4 s . In a fx4 supercrew and a Expedition . Both engines are reliable and run strong . I also added tuners and superchargers. .

You inspire me!
Great message!!! Stay within your means. You had to have some good people in your life growing up. Keep it your pocket not someone else's. I have a little more into my 06, but I saved saved 30k by buying one in great shape with 82k on it.
