You worked hard and waited for the right Truck to buy... As someone lost $35,000.00 buying it new. You bought it for $1200.00... Spent $1400.00 with your labor. You're into it for $2600.00 and no payments!

Good advice!! I have three old Ford trucks 89 F150, 94 F250 and a 95 Power Stroke. And not a one of them owe me a dime. I look at a new one.. Even a base model will cost you over $30,000. Not just no.. But NO FRIGGIN way! Just for that I am subscribing. Your a good man. Keep it up.

@@plugger4945 I kind of look at it like the kids who take on college debt. The college raises tuition and the creditors loan the money. The people who take on debt to drive a new car and the creditor don't care what you have to do to pay it. Like RtW says this is insanity. It is unsecured debt. It will depreciate below what you are paying for it before it's paid off. I wish more people would have his attitude about debt. We would be so much better off as a country.

I agree with you 100%, if you can't afford a new truck for $45,000+ and most people can't then you can do like you did. I just read that 7 million car loans are 3 months or more in arrears. That is a record level of bad car loans, the economy is in bad shape and there are a lot of people making really bad decisions. I really like your message and your work ethic, keep on keepin on.

I may do the oil pump, timing set and whatnot just to keep it running for a long time. And now I need to learn how to do some basic body work to prevent it from rusting itself out! Great job and great video . Yes you did bullet proof it . I did the same thing on 2 5.4 s . In a fx4 supercrew and a Expedition . Both engines are reliable and run strong . I also added tuners and superchargers. .

Did you get the pro charger or whipple? Thinking of doing the same.

Great message!!! Stay within your means. You had to have some good people in your life growing up. Keep it your pocket not someone else's. I have a little more into my 06, but I saved saved 30k by buying one in great shape with 82k on it.
