I had no idea that Max was saying all of these things and actually thought that way. I knew he thought he won the second fight, but the fact that he didn't watch any of the recent Volk performances is baffling. There was no way he would have won if he tried the exact same strategy as last time. I was hoping Max would break the Hawaiian/BJ Penn curse with losing to the same fighter 3 times...but he couldn't. This is rough.

This is actually makes so much sense I’m a huge max fan and was really confused how he got so dominated but volk countering the counter sums it up volk adjusted and was ready for max while max felt he had already beat volk I seen I think the weasle say he was confused why max looked so slow but you summed it up perfectly volk was literally countering his counters and new where max was gonna be while max was fighting like it was round 6 of the second fight great video

As a fan of UFC i love that you keep making videos about MMA, but i would understand that you will need to add new genre later, because your ideas and insight deserve to be shown to a larger audience. I first started watching mma in 2021, when ortega was about to fight volk, and like the whole world was cheering for ortega and trying to down volk by any means, he even got booed after he won, back then i didn't knew what happened until i say his history with max, everyone was saying that max was the true champ and volk is a fraud Now, volk is beloved by everyone, and max while still beloved, a lot believes that he's done and should move up because he'll never beat volk How things can quickly change in mma is truly a marvel Anything can change in a matter of a year or so

I don't understand if this channel is genius or just coming up with stupid things that sound really good but are dumb. I would really love that this channel can prove that this analisis is good. For example, if you can predict the outcome of the fight based on the pre fight psychology, that would be amazing

Holy shit.... if Volk failed to retain the belt in the 2nd fight with Max winning, Volk would've just used KAIZEN to get the belt back and the 3rd fight would still be what it is. Despite losing Max still felt like he won, so he decided to not improve. So even if Max did win, Volkanovski would've won the trilogy either way! Damn!!!! (Sorry bruh I keep on commenting, your videos are absolute gold and I keep coming back 🤣)

Max was always bitter after losing those first two fights (He thought he was robbed in the first fight as well). He showed nothing but respect to Poirier & McGregor after losing those fights, but look it up and you won't find a single interview/video where he gives Volkanovski genuine respect and credit for his wins. It was to the point that he'd stream on Facebook Gaming/Twitch at the same time Volkanovski was fighting Ortega & Zombie, just to show to the world that he does not think of him. So many MMA personalities say Max is the nicest MMA fighter, but he's been nothing but disrespectful and dismissive of Alex from the get-go. I'm glad that Alex beat him for a 3rd time, with the latest being in devastating fashion. Might get Max to finally show Alex the respect he's always deserved.

Thank you! I'm excited for that fight, he really has nothing to lose at all. It's not his belt on the line, and I don't think he really cares about the pound for pound status. P.S. I made a deeper dive video into Volkanovski's mind if you're curious

@@PsychologyOfTheFight You're more than welcome, this content is a gold mine, my friend. Literally two of my favourite things right now, analysing the mind and UFC. Yes, I will absolutely take a look, I adore how you look into the inner locus of control, it's something I try to consider at all times nowadays, since I was very much someone who always blamed my problems on the workings of other people. Thank you again, brilliant videos, very one of a kind.

Hey bro, I've watched this video on locus of control, and it really contrasts with an interview that dominick cruz did after his loss to Cody garbrant. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iY1nrZipmNTforA.html I think there are so many valuable psychological and philosophical insights in this video, and if you are trying to find ideas on the next video, definitely worth the watch.
