The Mental Shift That Made Charles Oliveira Confident

Фильм және анимация

How Charles "Do Bronx" Oliveira became so confident explained. Many have wondered where this shift in mentality came from, and how Charles Oliveira became champion.
These Charles Do Bronx highlights the story of his career, in conjunction with different psychology concepts in order to find out where the shift emerged, and ultimately how we can all apply it.
The video includes Charles Oliveira highlights and interviews in order to understand the Charles Oliveira mentality. It is a video essay highlighting MMA psychology.
Despite Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev highlights showing the fight not going his way, no one can take away what Charles Oliveira has done. Included in this video: charles oliveira vs michael chandler, charles oliveira vs dustin poirier, and Charles Oliveira vs Justin Gaetchje. Through combining fight footage with interview footage, this video paints a picture of Charles' mentality shift. Charles Oliveira vs Dustin Poirier highlights don't do justice to the evolution of Charles. The time his mentality is most on full display is the charles oliveira dustin poirier face off and really any Charles Oliveira face off. How Charles Oliveira became so confident.
In conjunction with the footage from several Charles Oliveira interview, specifically Charles Oliveira interview after fight, it's clear he has a killer mentality now. This video also analyzes why charles oliveira lost his title, and how, despite Charles do Bronx illuminated by God, it was not enough against Islam Makhachev.
Charles Do Bronx Oliveira is one of the best to ever do it, and Charles oliveira vs dustin poirier full fight is the proof of it. The islam makhachev vs charles oliveira full fight highlights don't do him justice. Charles Oliveiras jiu jitsu is most on display in the Charles Oliveira vs Tony Ferguson armbar.
Oliveira became so confident due to a combination of his teammates and his identity changing

Oliveira changed his fate relatively "late" in his career, when he was 29 years old. If you take your life as seriously as he did with his career, you can change despite of whatever your fate might look like.

Charles was the last to believe he was the best in the world and now he will probably be the last to stop believing it. That's why he always comes out as the underdog on the odds and still is confident no matter who they put in front of him. I honestly don´t know if he is the best or not, but what matters is that HE believes it and it shows. A true inspiration.

Worst part is, when he jump kneed, he had no footing and if you watch it back, notice how his knees buckle because his feet hadn't even properly landed so they went out from under him. Had he not jumped first, he might have still gone down as it was a great shot but that just guaranteed it as he couldn't even brace himself while he was still securing his footing.

You've talked about the pygmalion effect in one of your previous videos too and it definitely works 💯. I used this in an Arm wrestling tournament and managed to do well, just by having faith, killing all doubts and making sure that if u lose, it's the opponent who's beating u rather than self-doubt.

Great video bro! This saturday i've got another upcoming Muay thai fight and this is my exact problem in training. I would sometimes freeze up under pressure during sparring. Literally everybody in my gym is telling me to stop doubting myself and that i would become the champ. I have been my own worst enemy for the longest time due to past experiences and inner demons. My biggest weakness is my own self-doubt. This video has just confirmed to me that come saturday i will get the W :)

The great thing about the Pygmalion Effect is, you can manipulate it to your advantage. By exerting confidence you are portraying your self-image onto others. They start to believe in you and exert that belief in you back to you. You can create a flywheel effect like this. Always keep your mind strong. So even in the weakest moments you can display strength. Love your videos 🙌

You might not see this comment but this vid actually helped me a lot. When I first started my PhD program I had the mindset that I was still an undergrad and as a result I struggled in the first few weeks and thought that the coursework was too big of a burden to overcome as the level of difficulty of assignments was a large jump ahead and thought that everyone was much smarter than me. After a while I started changing those thoughts to that of not only am I a PhD student, but that I already have the PhD already and it helped me gain more confidence and as a result I have been consistently performing above average on exams. The results are reinforcing this new image of myself.

I remember when a female friend of mine gave me a boost saying that she believed in me at the time. She went off to the military and I never saw her again. However, because of that boost I got into the best shape of my life at the time. I lost it because I started to believe that she was lying about a lot of things, especially to her boyfriend. After finding out some irrefutable evidence about things she lied about, I think that was when I started backsliding. Now I'm fighting to get in even better shape and mental health than before.

Which is the self-fulling prophecy that low expectations leads to low performance. I'm glad you introduced it to the masses, it's a powerful tool to use not just in business, but with friends and family that need support.

I read your comment about having a muay thai fight coming up. You got this!! Just remember, everyone great you've ever looked up to has experienced doubt and nervousness. The only difference is they went out there and did it anyway

Coming to this after Charles win over beneil 🥲 he just makes you want him to win. The people’s champ. If he can get his takedown defense right and bang with Islam, he can definitely win. The champion has a name!!!
