Every commander deck I own is built to do stuff like this. Minimal removal or utility cards, just loads of fun cards. Not even worth starting a game against any kind of control deck, but when it goes off it really goes off!

Hey Seth, I was your opp on golgari enchantments. Our match made me realise I could use some hand disruption and bloodchief thirst's in the main hahaha. I was definitely wishing I had 'em This was a sweet deck though. Legit thought it was against the odds and the whole plan was to emergent into the wurm, mammoth and kogla to present a no win scenario. Could be real with some tightening.

A dark harbinger of things to come

This one was awesome. I will say, for the section at the end where you (didn't) talk about what you could improve about the deck, there were a few cards you boarded out in every match, so probably that says there are some improvements to be made... y'know, replace Nissa with removal or something more on plan... but that's a pretty minor quibble compared to "have a sideboard."

The sunglasses (and beard) killed it!

It feels like this could deck could be tightened up quite a bit since Seth searched for pretty much the same 8 cards each game. I'd really like to see Seth build his own Emergent Ultimatum deck for a stream. It's far better than I'd have expected. I think it's funny that the creature removal creatures are mostly green.

Honestly, this looks a lot like it could have been an early Against the Odds deck.

The ideia of this deck is sweet. Some improvement may put it really playable.

Don't know if you missed this line or if you just chose not to do it, but at 45:50 you could attack with Kogla in order to destroy the Aura before playing Thorn Mammoth, denying opponent a card. That line does give opponent an opportunity to block with the Eidolon, but (1) I think it's worth it anyway even if they block, as you're pretty far ahead at this point, and (2) I would say there's a good chance they don't take that opportunity, once you've removed the card-draw value of a block.

Oh, hmm, huh, well...

This reminds me of Kenrith in EDH. You can't let Emergent Ultimatum resolve because it gets Demonic Tutor, Omniscience, and Expropriate. No matter how you cut those 3 cards you can't win because each of them combo with both of the other two. Exp + DemT is 1 turn, 1 tutor, and 3 permanents AT WORST. Exp + Omni is 1 turn, 3 permanents, and every spell in their hand AT WORST. Omni + DemT is the BEST spell in their deck AND it is free to play with every other spell in hand AT WORST. It literally just corners the market on value in any given game if it resolves, and the blowout from letting it land is so much that even if you manage to come back from it you will exhaust almost all of your resources to do so while your opponent keeps acrewing additional value from the time it was cast. I personally like Genesis Ultimatum more as a card, but Emergent Ultimatum just pulls the most powerful trio of haymakers out of your list to cover any given situation and it is SO good. Tbh, it is probably better than Tooth and Nail in many cases...
