Hello from Western Australia. We've just been through a horrible heat wave with temperatures over 40 degrees celsius and it's too hot to go outside for very long. Winter temperatures here are about 15 to 18 degrees in the daytime. It's hard to imagine your cold weather. Thank you for sharing. Your videos are so interesting.

I am from India ..my region has now temperature of like 42 degrees...we have a extreme hot weather...It's very astonishing to see how people live in the coldest temperatures like -60 degrees...we have only experienced extreme hot weather...but we are somehow accustomed...but I think it is very hard to live in extreme cold weather...much harder than our climate... Kudos to the hardworking people living there ❤

Hi Kiun B, Wow. Fascinating. Thanks for covering not just the good sides, but also the not so good sides of living in such a cold environment. It seems like it would be impossible to be homeless in such cold temperatures. I pray often that God would help those who are homeless, hungry, and in need. Tbh, I did just a brief Google search of your age but was not sure of the exact year. But maybe, you are around 25 years old? Even though the people of Yakutsk may actually age faster, they often seem to look maybe 10 years younger than their counterparts. Thanks for sharing your very fascinating experiences.

What? −64°C (−84°F) that is insane. I am here in San Diego California and we are having a cold wet winter day of 10 C (51 F) and people are complaining about the weather. It just shows most things in life are subjective.

I live in northern regions of Finland where temperatures can go down to -40 to -45 in the coldest months, more commonly -20 to -35 a lot. I relate to many of the cold weather struggles, but not nearly in the level to as you guys have to deal with. I love your videos a lot though!!

Your videos are always so interesting. Thanks for sharing what it is like living there. Each video of yours that I watch I always think that there is no way I could live there. Not even visit. I would be staying indoors 100% of the time. I am going to say 20.

Born and raised in Northern Saskatchewan, I am super familiar with those -45 c days. The cold saps every ounce of energy out of my joints so I just stay cozy at home as much as possible when it's hitting those temperatures.

Thank you for providing us documentation of your hometown. Sure is icy over there. I could penguins from a safe distance away.

It's exactly the same as Dubai, but in reverse. I'm complaining about the exceeded heat in most of the year, especially in May until October. In the daytime, the temperature rises to 50, and at night, it drops to 36 with a very high humidity.

I enjoy and learn something new each time watching your videos. At 1:52 it was mentioned a lot of people die from the cold each year. For some time I have been wondering how the dead are cared for and funeral rites during the coldest part of the winter?

In Rio Grande do Sul, a state located in Brazil, in winter the minimum temperatures reach a maximum of -10 degrees, a difference of -58 degrees with Yakutia. In summer temperatures exceed 40 degrees with a sensation of 50 degrees.

Can you please post (next year I guess) a video covering a day during winter when temperatures are lower than average, maybe below -55C? I notice in a lot of the videos you say the day is relatively warm for winter in Yakutia, around -40C. I'm interested to see what a day in Yakutia/Yakutsk looks like on a day of unusually low temperature, the unique extra challenges and how the people who must still go outside e.g. for work cope when it is below -55C. thank you!

Excellent!! ❤ I thought you were going to talk about when our eye lashes freeze, or the tingle on our tongues at -40F, or possibly snot-cycles at -30F 😂 Depression and suicide are problems for us as well. The marginal daylight in the winter and the wonderful 24/7 sunlight in the summer can cause drastic emotional swings in some people. 😢

Biggest surprise i learned a while back was how your lungs are one of the biggest dangers. While i have always had i wish i lived somewhere cooler not sure i could deal with the temps you have there but would prefer it to somewhere is is 100F. It's ironic that living in Southern California I once had low vitamin D levels but I don't do well in the sun and heat so in the summer I tend to hide indoors or in the shade as much as possible. I can't even imagine how that temperature of cold feels but if I could, I'd love to experience it just once. Not sure if the coldest I've been in has been around 30F or the high 20s (fahrenheit) in some local mountains.

Here in canada we can get down to -40C with a windchill of -55C or colder. I hate the cold. With the cold here, I couldn't visit there in the winter. But i do appreciate learning how its coped with in siberia. My guess is you must be at least 33 years old
